Interesting.......and odd.
There's some info here from a couple of years ago on Premier league refs, who they support and how PGMOL manage match allocation.
Keith Hacket says who refs support, where they are based and playing history is taken into account.
Both Madleys are Huddersfield fans, apparently, but it wouldn't look great if "former academy player Bobby Madely awarded Barnsley a last minute penalty for a dive" etc
That's shocking and ought not to be allowed.

Interesting responses from those of you that use railways regularly, you seem fairly content with the prices and service.
But factor in a second person, and the road prices always work out much cheaper. I travel with a partner, and rail just isn't an affordable option for us.
Not to mention the overcrowding, lack of facilities, cancellations etc.

Today's Martin Lewis poll. 37,000 votes so far and 92% in favour of re-nationalisation of railways.
Says everything you need to know about the crap services we get.

Are these actual figures or something that he heard from someone in the pub or when out walking his dog?
Still awaiting my response from him after calling his bs out...

Here are the figures from the accounts:

And they still haven't fully paid the fine the EFL gave them for breaking FFP the season they beat us at Wrmbley.
Been treated very kindly in comparison to us, imo.

Not specific to Derby County but I see lots of comments from our supporters frustrated with rail travel both to home and away matches.
Here's a chance to have your say and hopefully do something about it!
Although they say it's for away supporters it isn't just about them when you open it.
Mods, you may wish to move to football forum but I wanted a few people to see it first. 😉

We have had a lot of the ball but rubbish in final third. Every time they break they look dangerous.

Tony has swapped out to left so far this half.

Blackburn have their own academy bus - posh!
Half time.
-
Midfield all at sea. You can tell they have been thrown together.
Fornah was brilliant for 10 minutes now he's awful.
1 - 2 Blackburn. Free kick. Clumsy foul from D Robinson.

Is that Thompson LW and Weston AM?
No, Thommo and Weston buzzing around Wheeldon. According to the trainee coaches behind me we are playing two number 10s.
I'm not sure what they know, though - one of them has a Forest coat on!

Ward right wing! 4 at back.

Yes. Too many people wanting to watch Derby and Blackburn U21s instead of Everton and Palace.
It's a pearler, that rule!

Apologies, the point I was making is that you don't need a run of games to prove the shirt is yours. I think Sibley over the years under various different managers, has had plenty of opportunities in his favoured role, if it takes him 45 minutes to get into a game, that's a luxury you can't afford imo.
And yet we offer this scenario to Barkhuizen time and time again.

I buggered up my post. What I meant to say is given time and not just dropped or subbed. Too often he’s been played out of position (ok, it’s often been by necessity), he’s been dragged of fairly often when he has started in a more advanced or just given brief sub appearances.
Give him time and a bit of faith and I’m sure Sibbs will repay it.
Trust, time - it's the same thing, really?

1Wildsmith 7.0 I just feel safer with Wildsmith in the nets. Even when he makes the odd mistake.
35Nelson 7.5
5Bradley 7.5
6Cashin 7.5
What a solid defensive lineup we have. Enjoy our defending, we're going to see a lot of it in the next few games!
24Nyambe 7.0 Solid, but not a natural wingback. Helped build the platform for us to go on and take the win.
11Smith 7.5 Not his biggest fan usually, but he looked up for it and out-did Cashin with that raking forward pass.
8Bird 7.0 Needed to play further forward, which we eventually twigged!
32Adams 8.0 He will be the difference for the rest of the season. Strong, determined and looking to improve
20Elder 6.5 A little off the pace at times, building fitness still but growing in confidence.
2Wilson 7.0 Looked like a fish out of water until he changed position, then impressed again.
11Méndez-Laing 7.5 not his best game, but likewise changed it up once he was out wide and another assist.
7Barkhuizen 6.5 Probably the least physically strong of our team, but worked hard.
17Sibley 7.0 Didn't have long to impress, but did so with a well taken winner.

If any of you reminiscing guys are interested, RamsTrust has recently published an exclusive two-part interview with Stuart Webb on the website:
We also have some copies of his autobiography, "Clough, Maxwell and Me" available to buy on there. Link is at the end of the article.
Thanks.

But he's attributed his recent form to being able to live locally with his family, hasn't he?
Time for MLS when he's finished here.
