Shouldn't we all be thinking of Rhodes as being another McGoldrick? The similarities are there for many to see, yet mostly, the negatives are his scoring record is not what it used to be (if it was we'd need to find £5m), his hair is thinning and he can't run the 100m in under 11 seconds? A rotation of Collins, Washington and Rhodes, with a little bit of Dajourne Brown, maybe some Sibley and Barkhuizen thrown in, looks okay to me for building a squad to get us out of this division. At least most have heard of him, know what a excellent career he has had, and didn't have to look him up on Wiki.

We are really lightweight and sit too deep. When Smith went off we were awful ... It has to be said, also we need more pace up front 

I ducking hope Collins scores and shuts up some of the vile, primitive nobs on here that masquerade as fans. Just find someone to hate why don’t you. He scored in The last preseason, he hit double figures last season in a make shift team. He isn’t a genius but he’s a good lad and doesn’t deserve the total garbage coming form some quarters

Yes,we get it,you're not keen on signing him but if Paul Warne wants to sign him I'd rather rely on his judgment rather than your "assessment" 

We're in League One with next to to money whatsoever.
There's absolutely nothing out there in the free agent market.
This bloke has scored just over 200 goals in just over 400 games and some of us are saying no.
I'm intrigued as to realistically you'd want us to sign? Or would fit in a wage budget? 
I'm not saying he's a world beater or I'd be excited. But it's league one. We are where we are. Personally think he could comfortably score between 10-15 goals at this level.
Also Knight hasn't even been gone a week yet and some people are panicking that we've not replaced him. 

If we'd just signed Sibley from elsewhere and had just watched his highlights reel, he'd be on everyone's starting list.

I fully expect to be ridiculed, but I stand by my prediction that Collins will comfortably score 20+ goals this season !!

If someone told me five years ago that Louie Sibley was going to end up being our back-up left back I would have never have believed them.
Kinda struggle to get my head around the fact that the kid that was coming through the academy, that looked like a superstar under Cocu, is in this position. 

Craig Forsyth is a more than adequate cover for centre half or left hand side defender. He was among the contenders for player of the year last season but people seem to have forgotten that he's even at the club

Are we selling him to Grasshopper Club Zurich ?

I’ve heard we signed him a week ago but they were not allowed to show photos until he had grown some semblance of a beard .

Many people seem to be ignoring Barkhuizen as a real option.
He showed enough at Preston and in flashes last season to suggest that he could be a big player at this level.
Hopefully a good pre season will give him the required fitness levels to perform more consistently next season.

Oh my god! We have missed out on Harvey Knibbs who scored 1 goal every 8 appearances last season.
We have also missed out on Dan Agyei and Jamie Pardington to some of the “lesser lights” in this division today!
We must be a laughing stock as these players were available and we have been beaten to all their signatures!!
They’d better get their act together otherwise the pub team I play for will beat Derby for my signature too!

He's a player with 76 games half in league 1.  I've yet to see him get MOTM awards at international level against France and The Ukraine.  Once again I'll stand by my opinion that Knight was very good last season and covered huge amounts of pedestrian play with his willingness too carry other peoples arses.  This poor season is a myth. There is no chance of replacing him for the money offered.

It’s kinda what a sponsor is paying for though, in many cases. Sponsorship would be worth less if they don’t get thousands of random people wearing billboards.
