They've both been as good and as bad as each other this season.
If Marshall's attitude has been poor (like Rooney said) and if he wants one last final payday at Celtic then go ahead and go. Why would we want players who can't be bothered, playing for the club?

I read that one of the reasons it had hit us hard was our obesity levels. Sometimes health is about personal responsibility and maybe this might help people change their approach to their own lifestyle.

Say what you want about how we've handled the pandemic overall, but our vaccination program has been superbly organised.
Couldn't walk 5 steps without a marshall pointing me in the right direction and I was in and out in a flash.

Well, the Sheikh was shown to be dodgy when he tried to buy Newcastle, and Alonso was known to be dodgy from his Sheffield Wednesday days so... in both cases the "until they turn out not to be" was before we even spoke to them.

So my parents left the gate open in case she managed to find her way home, and this morning when they went downstairs she was asleep on the garden. No idea where she was or how she got back, she happy that she did!

Quite a frank and open interview here with Jordon Ibe, mental health discussions start around the 20 minute mark.
Hope he's getting the support he needs and that he can continue to work his way towards the team for next season.

    What a day.
Seeing the people I haven’t seen for a long, long time at the pub. The people I’ve gone all over the country with. To Grimsby, to Preston, to god knows where.
Yes, it’s embarrassing that we had to survive on the final day. But I don’t care. I’ve celebrated us pulling something out of the bag on the final day.
I’ve created a memory that I’ll cherish forever.
I love football. I love Derby County.
    Up the bloody Rams.

And that’s the problem! Right here!! You slag off Mel because of the position we are in now yet why are we here?! Because he tried to compete against teams with parachute payments. Went about it the wrong way but he tried. Wednesday did exactly the same look where they are. Reading will be the next one, if they don’t get up next season I would then say the red dogs would be next.

Run the club sustainability- no ambition sack the board. Spend money trying to get promotion against teams with more resources - sack the board.
We all need a reset of expectations because ultimately we want a football club to support at the end of the day that we feel connected to, whatever division we are in.

I thought 2020 was a tough year, 2021 has been absolutely mental so far.
5 weeks ago my brother-in-law committed suicide and then last week my wife lost our baby whilst 4 months pregnant and we spent a rough couple of days in hospital having to still give birth. Tough times.
I was at least hopeful Wayne Rooneys Rams would cheer me up slightly on the Saturday, but it wasnt to be.
My escapism has always been the Rams, but at the minute it's like going on holiday to Normanton to get away from it all.

Clearly a WUM. Question is who do you support then? Honestly? Given Forest are top of your list I would guess you’re a red dog.

No club is too big to go down as we’re probably about to find out ourselves but I would argue we are the biggest club in that entire list

I hope anybody that attends outside the ground pre-game does so with good intentions and only to support and encourage the lads.
This lot of players certainly do not deserve to be applauded and cheered in to the ground, however what choice do we have? Whether you like this squad, or any individual player, it doesn't really matter. This set of players currently represent Derby County Football Club and have one game to ensure they don't take us down. Any negativity or abuse directed before the game will not have any benefit whatsoever. The only thing it does is potentially hand Sheffield Wednesday the psychological upper hand.
We need to stay up no matter what. We don't need to be singing, dancing & hugging if we manage to survive. The players don't need pats on the back if they crawl to a 0-0 draw that sees us safe by the skin of our teeth. It's likely our squad will be vastly different next season regardless of what division we're playing in, and from around 3pm on Saturday the vast majority are players I honestly could not care less about, or who they go on to play for next.
However until then, they mean absolutely everything and may somehow still have the opportunity for some kind of redemption after a season which has been mostly filled with embarrassing, soulless performances.
Give the lads the encouragement to get us over the line. The players shoot themselves in the foot on the pitch often enough, let's not do our bit as fans to help them pull the trigger.

In terms of individual quality, I'd say a firm no. If you were picking our worst ever eleven, none of this team would be in it (IMO).
However, none seem to be playing anything like they're capable of and collectively, they can't seem to play together.
Confidence is obviously shot to pieces so it's a case of just hoping we can hang in for a draw against Wednesday and Rotherham pick up no more than three points. Then, go again next season. Even if Rooney is still in charge, provided we sign a couple of decent players, I don't think next year will be quite as bad but we'll still be at the wrong end of the table.
