Amongst all this, just reading Nixon's tweets and the way he replies to people confirms what I thought of him, that of him being a rude and conceited cnut who seems to think he is a better journalist than he is (and I find him shiiite). What a t***...
Nah, he's just Scottish mate.

I’ve only seen @Curtainsand myself post on here today to say we believed this would be going through. Sure we still have a fair few miles to go yet, but it’s certainly looking a lot rosier tonight than this morning.

Quantuma and Dawes get together, manufacture this bad news, release it into the world, and get paid within a matter of hours.
Absolute masterclass if you ask me ?

He might want that but all I was saying was it's owned by someone else so he will only get it if they want to sell it.
If you're on about the local consortium, they don't own it yet. An agreement is in place, but that was dependent on CK buying the club.
As it stands, the stadium is still legally owned by Mel.

Someone has already bought it haven't they?
That was under the pretence of CK buying the club side of things.
MA will certainly want the stadium all to himself.

Ashley should have been first choice all along. Everyone knows he's got the funds. He's got past experience running a club.
It's obvious the only reason he wasn't picked is because Mel/Quantuma want an unrealistic amount of money and keep trusting these dodgy characters out of desperation.
If the deal collapses we won't have time to complete another one. Rooney will go. If we're not kicked out the league entirely we'll highly likely get relegated to League 2 next season.
No, he absolutely should not have.
The man is a well-known business vulture - he waits in the shadows until the business is on its knees before swooping in and putting a tenner on the table.
He will let us get to the point of having absolutely nothing to our name - no Rooney, no player re-signings - before offering a derisory amount that will see us start with -15. All for the sake of getting something a little bit cheaper than market value.
I promise you, he should only ever be a last, last, absolutely final choice.

Can someone kindly scribble down the content of the interview for those that can’t listen (aka me), thank you kindly.
Difficult ask, I'm afraid. There wasn't much concrete substance there, just opinions of those in the studio.
They said that he IS legitimate - he does have the funds, etc, because all of the important parties have carried out due diligence.
But they called him out for just not pushing the button - didn't buy the whole difficulties with transferring money.
And, worryingly, when CK spoke to Jim White before they went on air, he said that he can't go on live as he's off to play a round of golf. He did say, however, that Derby fans should relax and that he still hopes to be the owner.
Either way, Simon Jordan is absolutely adamant that we won't be liquidated, and that Ashley is of course still hanging around.

Still talking the talk apparently - still expects to own us.

I think the fact we're hearing from him on radio before he says something on Twitter is extremely worrying.
Not sure why I think that, but I've got an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Apparently there's an interview with CK on there shortly.

Personally I feel that they should ignore the vocal morons deriding them and put out some information anyway.
The vast majority would appreciate any information and take it on face value.
Continuing silence is extremely disrespectful in my opinion and the longer it goes on the more supporters will read bad news into it.
That wouldn't be ignoring them then, would it? That would be ceding to their sense of entitlement and giving them what they want.
And, to me, disrespectful is 'DavetheAshbourneRam' tweeting him and his missus ten times a day demanding an update, questioning his finances, and calling him a tyre-kicker when he doesn't get a personal reply to any of the above.

I actually think the fact CK hasn’t said one thing today means for me it will be announced tomorrow. Usually they are getting their excuses lined up but maybe it’s finally pretty much there so they feel the need to just leave it and let the next piece of comms be the announcement.
Hasn't stopped him receiving 300+ tweets today from people demanding an update.
We're going to end up driving him away at this rate ?

We are 100% on the same page, I've been trying to find out if CK has paid the players, but, tumbleweed.....
I'm no doubt going to get abuse for this, but, if the deal is not concluded by cease business on Monday, its not going to happen.......
Absolute rubbish.
Everyone with an insight into the deal says it's done - "the champagne's on ice" - and we know that the players have been paid.
What more do you want to find out?

I see from that thread that Ian Redfern is trying one last desperate attempt at negativity among pretence of being knowledgeable....
There's a small group of fans on Twitter, of which he is one, that royally p**s me off.
It seems like they take great pride in telling everyone that they were right about MM, and that everyone else was wrong. This somehow entitles them to get up on their high horse and tell fans what they should and shouldn't be doing i.e. demanding to see the contents of CK's bank account/crypto wallet.

No, they know what's happening. I think they're probably trying to keep hopes up, if anything.
Either that, or things aren't as bad as being reported.
