I have now got a senior ST this season. Will I get a new card to replace my Adult card?
I believe so.
New ST holders and those who change age bands are the only ones having cards sent out to them.

No chance we’re in a relegation scrap this season. Not with our current squad contracted for the season.
Even though it’s still light. Half of League One is clearly a level below.
I agree - purely hypothetical.

It’s a gamble for us.
Bird and Knight probably can’t sign contract extensions due to wage restrictions and budget cap. Should we get promoted, I’d see no reason why they wouldn’t extend next summer.
But on the flip side, if we don’t get promoted, we will almost certainly lose them for nothing next summer.
So do we cash in on them now? We could get promoted without them. But having them in the squad gives us a better chance of promotion as both players are clearly solid Championship standard.
See where we are in January, I guess.
If we're up near the top or in a relegation scrap, keep them.
If we're languishing in midtable with nothing much to play for, it might be more beneficial to sell.

Terell Thomas, 26yr old centre back, probably unlikely now but we was linked with him
Ah yes, I remember now. That one's gone very quiet.

I have a feeling we could be interested in Louie Barry from Aston Villa. Winger/striker on loan at Swindon last season.
Apparently, there's up to 10 clubs interested in loaning him.

Has to be Davies, surely.

Roberts and Davies, I'm going to guess. Outside chance of Collins.

Yes because it's a discount off the general admittance price, not the season ticket price.....
Ah, that hadn't even occurred to me ?
But, Christ, that seems like a lot for individual tickets!

If everyone gets a 25% discount, can it truly be considered a discount? ?

I can’t work out whether I trust that account or not, but you’re right they have got some Derby news right over the past week. So either have some knowledge or very good at piecing together clues from elsewhere and making solid guesses.
Either way Curtis signing on if/when it does happen is a key bit of business in my opinion. He brings that continuity around what the club means and would share that with the new squad members, is a born leader whether named captain or not and would make sure standards are met within the squad which is key for Rosenior as a novice manager, and he did of course show last season that he’s still got it. Played every game, was consistent, headers, blocks, chipped in with a few goals and I seem to recall one outrageous moment of skill too. One year or two we need him at the club. ?
You're right - they've nailed pretty much everything to do with us recently.
In fact, their post was the first one I saw about the takeover being completed.

I felt Derby would survive. Too big a club. The Admin blew opportunities. Not many clubs in admin have so many bidders as well.
My thought process all along too.
I would have been much more fearful if we were a club of Bristol City's size, for example.

Would have liked a re-signing or two as well but beggars can't be choosers ?

Goals from midfield - just what we lacked last season.
And designated set-piece taker. Scored a few FKs in his time.

He's mates with Max Lowe so not surprised to see a quote from him in there! ?
He's a good writer though and it's nice to see some actual new information that I wasn't aware of before.

I thought it was now well established we are working to a pre-agreed business plan regarding wages and the like. If Hourihane is signing it is for a wage we can afford and one he has accepted, one that has been budgeted for as you mentioned the need to be balanced, perhaps a combination of the wages saved on the likes of Roos, Ravel, Festy, Allsop, Ebiowei and Buchanan?
Where does this idea that players will be demanding extortionate amounts from us keep coming from?Exactly. It's not a case of us saying to the EFL "If you let us sign Hourihane, we promise that we'll sell someone so that we can afford him."
If we're signing him, it's because we can afford him now and it's within the restrictions.

Yes Mr PoopHisPantsALot on Only Twits In Bristol is still apoplectic that he doesn’t have all the outstanding DCFC accounts to feed into his spreadsheets to keep himself busy on his long lonely nights.
He's completely and utterly obsessed with us.
I can picture him sitting in the dark frothing at the mouth, poring over our accounts and furiously typing away.
Meanwhile, his missus is packing her suitcase and taking the kids with her.
New signings, who will be first...and next?

After Collins, Forsyth, and potentially Stephens, I would like to see some youth come in.
As much as they're all shrewd signing, I'd prefer us not to be that one club where the majority of the squad are over 30 years old.
