Loved that for a day out.
NML, Knight and Bird all very good. Sibley definitely freshened things up when he came on too.
Bit disappointed with Collins, Barkhuizen and Hourihane overall but, such is their quality, they can and will win matches with one moment of brilliance.
Interesting to see a couple of Oxford fans single out Wildsmith on their forum. Some errant kicks but made a decent stop and I could see what we were trying to do with his passing out from the back.

I'm not fussed about seeing them before tomorrow but, if anyone does see Big Trav's pics, let us know what you think.
-
Players under the age of 30 please ?
-
Oxford's matchday thread if anyone wants to see their perspective...

I've come across many people in my job who I would say have 'the gift of the gab'.
But this guy must be on another level to sucker in Goldman Sachs and other high-profile investors.
It certainly raises questions about the EFL and their owners test, that's for sure.
Edit: to clarify, I was all in on CK. He got me too.

I thought the DD option didn't incur additional fees. I bought mine this time round, but last time I used it I can't remember paying anything on top?
There was an extra fee last year but it was negligible. Maybe an extra £30 or something like that.

Help please ...I'm thinking of taking my kids today for first time and want to sit at top of East stand...only east and north stand open. Will there be shade up there or full sun? Due to moving out of country Ive not been much to PPS since the Jim Smith years... Thanks. If someone knows that would be more helpful than calling a Derby county 0871 number...
I sit in the East Stand upper and you do get a bit of sun. It's the one very slight moan I have with my seat as, even in the non-summer months, I often get blinded by sunlight.
I'd just try and get one as close to the back of the stand as you can.

Just bought mine.
Never actually been to an away game due to past circumstances, but wanted to try and get to a couple this season.

I reckon it’s Cashin based on the powerful, powerful calves
Ah yes, good shout. Definitely a CB's number.
Is he just hiding behind Sibley then? ?

How do people spot this stuff?
Edit: Probably Stephens.

Like him as a player. If it was a question of Stephens or Smith then I prefer this options - 2 years younger and has played nearly 3 times as many games in the past 2 years.
Tend to agree it looks like someone is going. Guess we wait and see who.
Just posted this in the Pre-Season Training thread.
Bielik's kit number has been taken by Chester.
-
Good spot by someone in the comments here - Chester's got the no.5 training kit, which was Bielik's number.
Rest of the numbers look matched up to the players as well, so it doesn't look like a case of 'grab whatever number you can'.

Where's Bird going then?
Coventry???
That wouldn't show that much ambition on his part or much of a boost to our finances.
I would hope Smith is to replace Bielik, if anyone.

Coventry City have Derby County midfield duo Max Bird and Louie Sibley on their radar but are not actively pursuing the pair at this stage of the transfer window.
CoventryLive understands that while both players are very much known to City’s recruitment department, they come into the contingency plan category in case the Sky Blues lose key players this summer.

And if we add Plange we have had, I think, 11 departures … So ladies and gentlemen we still need players .. is Byrne a deffo ? Or is it just Twatter dross ?
Well the news of him weaseling out of his contract came from the DET journo. So I would say a reputable source.
And the fact he didn't play against Bradford and hasn't trained with us speaks volumes.
So I'd be very, very surprised if he ever plays for us again, nor do I want him to.

Matchday Thread - Derby County v Oxford United (30/07 15:00)

I thought the ref did OK today to be fair.
Yes, Hourihane could have had a second yellow by the letter of the law. But, with the challenges that we're flying in today, I thought it would have been harsh and not in keeping with the rest of the game.
And I thought that Collins challenge was a definite yellow from where I was sat. It looked exactly like the one Lawrence got sent off for at the back end of last season.
