I felt Derby would survive. Too big a club. The Admin blew opportunities. Not many clubs in admin have so many bidders as well.
My thought process all along too.
I would have been much more fearful if we were a club of Bristol City's size, for example.

Would have liked a re-signing or two as well but beggars can't be choosers ?

Goals from midfield - just what we lacked last season.
And designated set-piece taker. Scored a few FKs in his time.

He's mates with Max Lowe so not surprised to see a quote from him in there! ?
He's a good writer though and it's nice to see some actual new information that I wasn't aware of before.

I thought it was now well established we are working to a pre-agreed business plan regarding wages and the like. If Hourihane is signing it is for a wage we can afford and one he has accepted, one that has been budgeted for as you mentioned the need to be balanced, perhaps a combination of the wages saved on the likes of Roos, Ravel, Festy, Allsop, Ebiowei and Buchanan?
Where does this idea that players will be demanding extortionate amounts from us keep coming from?Exactly. It's not a case of us saying to the EFL "If you let us sign Hourihane, we promise that we'll sell someone so that we can afford him."
If we're signing him, it's because we can afford him now and it's within the restrictions.

Yes Mr PoopHisPantsALot on Only Twits In Bristol is still apoplectic that he doesn’t have all the outstanding DCFC accounts to feed into his spreadsheets to keep himself busy on his long lonely nights.
He's completely and utterly obsessed with us.
I can picture him sitting in the dark frothing at the mouth, poring over our accounts and furiously typing away.
Meanwhile, his missus is packing her suitcase and taking the kids with her.

I think we might be in the endgame, folks. 5pm announcement looks likely.

I assume that the significance of the screenshot is that the appointment of an administrator end date has been set to today's date? Does anybody know what it was like before? E.g, was the end date just blank, or does it change as each day passes?
I imagine it would have been blank.
Although I'm not sure what happened with the academy on 9th Dec 2021.

Never before in the field of football administration has much been bungled by so few. Future generations shall look back upon Quantuma and say "well that was very disappointing if I'm honest about it"
I'd be very surprised if they see any future work in football tbh.

I think he’s liked other tweets about going elsewhere.
My guess is more that someone looks after and there’s either a young intern ‘liking’ any post that says ravel morrison without looking or it’s one of them bots.
Or Ravel is going to QPR, I don’t know
He's liked tweets about going to QPR, Sunderland, Preston, and Huddersfield. All separate tweets.
What an utterly bizarre thing to do, if of course it's him doing it.

Am I right in thinking it’s only the submission of the bid in its final steps , not the actual takeover?
Yeah, I wasn't sure how to interpret that bit.
Is the bid in its 'final strokes', or the deal? I feel like more would have been made of this if it were the latter.

Victim costs and a community order probably.

With Allsopp gone is there any chance of Roos staying? And with Rosenior looking likely to go I think Wayne will be looking for an assistant , Bardsley? Can any plans be made in our situation?
I'd hope Roos would stay now. Although I thought for sure he was off when we brought him on for the last 15 minutes of the season.

Ah s**t, there's going to be so many leaving, isn't there? Allsop was one of the ones I was more confident of keeping ?
I can see Morrison, CKR, Lawrence, Roos, and Ebiowei all leaving on frees. Byrne, Buchanan, Knight, and Bielik getting sold/loaned out.
I do hope we can bring back Thompson, Davies, and Cashin though.

Drop him another text and ask him how much he's bid - we'll then know what's classed as 'competitive'.
I'm sure he won't mind sharing ?

I know its not part of dcfc or administration. My question is has the sale of the stadium gone through yet or was it reliant on the takeover? If the club is liquidated the stadium becomes useless and i would rather that fall on mel rather than whoever decided to help us out by buying it.
No, the sale of the stadium hasn't gone through.
An agreement was in place under the pretence that CK buys the club.

Someone who can identify this d**k will have already seen it.
It's just whether their moral compass works and whether they want to grass him up.

That reads like the response to the contact Percy mentioned earlier, so Q have reached out and MA has replied and said “we’re interested, always have been, don’t take kindly to being your 3am text after you’ve failed to pull but let’s talk so long as your ex isn’t involved”…. I may have paraphrased a little
Never thought I'd see Mike Ashley referred to as someone's booty call ?

On the positive side, the pitch is looking good. If we get someone to take us over who really cares about the club and understands what it means to the city and the fans, we might just have a team to play on it.

You're right - they've nailed pretty much everything to do with us recently.
In fact, their post was the first one I saw about the takeover being completed.
