This isn't a Derby County I want to watch. I will of course as we all do but I want to see progressive fast fluid accurate passing by good footballers.
I looked at our passing stats for this season and quite honestly they are appalling.
I'm forever in the debt of David Clowse for saving the club but it looks like he has cocked up with Warne to me. He's looking like a one trick pony.

So has the current manager improved him?

The consensus on this thread is that the management team IS the recruitment team this summer
And it shows....

It seems each day we sink to a new low. The club sound like a total bunch of amatures.

We are a club with a history that makes our fans think that we are a Premier or at least Championship club. We are also a club that due to indiscretions of people of power within the club, combined with poor judgment by the same people or their choice of employees, are now a League One club operating under unfair conditions applied by other people of power within the regulatory body.
We are where we are, League One! We are therefore a League one club.
Your opinion which is fine. My opinion is that we are a higher league club with a lower league team.

Sorry NDA applies.
Just basically said everyone is on the same page and it’s a long term project and it’s been a difficult transfer window.
He also said some need to realise we are a league one club.
Sorry if that’s not really gossip but if he had told me anything juicy I don’t do kiss and tell 😂
That's the problem.... We are not a league one club, it's just that we have a league one team.

The performances against Blackpool and Oxford were absolutely disgraceful. Against Wigan it was better and against Burton it was a poor performance masked by two late goals.
In my opinion the players are either confused by what is being asked of them, unwilling to play for the manager or just simply not good enough. All three options are very worrying.
-
The players don't look happy. If they don't believe in the manager it's game over. Seems that's the case to me.
-
My goodness we are so bad it's beyond shocking. This can't continue. Bradley is hopeless and looks lost.
-
Absolute crap. Hope for better in the second half but we have been turned into a kick and hope second ball team of hoofers.

Looks like Warne got a reaction out of Max. Good man management?

I think PW needed to show he knew what the problem is, hence the "turned heads comment" I'm not sure PW has identified the issue, what is a matter with Sonny Bradley he looks awful, has he had his head turned?
Agreed. Sonny Bradley looks slow & uncomfortable in possession.

You listened to one interview (RamsTV?). Have you listened to the Radio Derby one?
Is the Radio Derby interview available in full anywhere now?

Incredibly deserved
And that is a massive worry.

I haven't seen the game yet but taking off your new star defender and your new captain at half time sounds incredibly desperate.

I read most of the posts about the game before I saw it on RamsTV. I have now watched the whole match and I have to say I was pleasently suprised. The football was pretty good. We were the better side as the stats show and apart from the blunders we could have won. Wigan were no mugs.
Reasonably optimistic at the moment. Waghorn may be a more potent Collins but we will see.

No point getting anyone on longer than a 1 year deal when Harry Lane might be available on a free next summer
Let's not go down that road.

Surely the purpose of VAR is to ensure correct decisions are arrived at and not to settle disputes. Just respecting the refs decision wouldn’t necessarily achieve this. I’m sure there are plenty of more recent examples but take the Henry “hand ball” against The Republic of Ireland. The ref incorrectly allowed the goal but VAR would certainly have ruled it out.
I think there is a role for VAR to play but it’s clearly not quite working as intended.
I'm of the opinion VAR only became necessary after pundits picked apart every decision. On the whole the officials are pretty good. If VAR is needed at all it would be better used to punish cheating players. Leave the refs alone and just accept their decisions.
-
I've got a novel idea. Why not respect refs decisions then VAR not needed.

Like the look of that team I wonder however if Washington will be able to play the Collins role more effectivly.
How many points?

Yes, the performances are the issue. Not sure the players are enjoying playing any more than some of us are enjoying watching.
