Like the look of that team I wonder however if Washington will be able to play the Collins role more effectivly.

took all figures straight from the internet without properly looking so take with a pinch of salt, but he certainly didn’t splash the cash in any promotion season.

And along with his promotions this is why he was a No.1 target for cash strapped Derby. 

If we stay as we are we've swapped McGoldrick for Washington. Different types of players. Not sure of Warnes thinking but I'm surprised we haven't secured a bit of pace up front. Waghorn and Sibley aren't the answer for me but who knows.... A bit worrying that we are very close to the seasons start and both Washington and Sibley haven't as yet played in a single pre-season match. 

We keep having individual players wages quoted. Where exactly are these figures coming from and how come private sensitive information is in the public domain?

Warne is not only with us due to his league 1 promotion record but because he built his promotion teams on a tight budget. DCFC is being run in a self sustaining way. Don't expect speculative investments. 

I'm expecting him to be one of our standouts this season. When he's fit and settled this lad can play. 

Enjoyed that. More of the same or better please.

Basically I found the overall performance very underwhelming. The style and patterns of play were poor. 

It's an interesting tactic, giving the ball away. I particularly like the long over hit punts.

It obviously wont be any of us on here as we are all nutters.

I think hes somewhere between our U21's and the first team. Hes very close to being a good first team player but not quite there. Mind you, when he plays for the kids hes outstanding, which is just what you want to see from a young promising player. Glad he's signed, lots of potential.

Are we seriously considering a 37 year old?

I'm trying to work out the current first team squad size. How many bodies do we have?... I can count 19 including the lad from the U21s 

Cant the away fans be moved into the North Stand and then the South Stand can be pushed round to the whole stand.

As by far the leading club in the division with, according to our chairman, a healthy budget, its a shame if we need to consider loaning anyone. We have professional people whos job it is to find talent from anywhere in the world for the short or long term benifit of the club. I'll wait a little longer before I start twitching but I'm very suprised we havent completed the vast majority of our business early.

Without the safety net of premier league finances, big squads in lower leagues usually results in either over spending of club finances or a handful of mediocre players making up the numbers. A first team squad of 20-22 players of the right calibre and age is ideal.

Am I the only one not really bothered if Haydon Roberts signs or not? I mean, hes ok but not that essential.

From my perspective I'm not overly bothered if Haydon joins or not. He can do a job but not too concerned if he goes elswhere. I expect others who are equal or better may surface.
