cannable
Having read the three favourite Derby players thread… I just don’t get the whole Bryson thing. Playing-wise, barring one unbelievable season aside he was just a tidy, energetic midfielder who would stretch the play. Shackell should’ve been POTY in 11/12. And then off the pitch, he tried to force a move to Burnley in 2014 which resulted in us giving him a contract worth £5,000,000. Gerry Daly
Bobby Davison was a much better pure goalscorer finisher than either Kevin Hector or Dean Saunders
Foreveram
Bobby Davison was not a top level goal scorer, which is not even very controversial.

Martin should have been play of the season 13/14 and would have been if it wasn't for Bryson's hat trick against forest. cannable, RoyMac5 and Adslegend 2

England Ram Posted Wednesday at 08:35 Share Posted Wednesday at 08:35 Not sure it’s controversial but…. England would be better if Bellingham played in a deeper role as he has done for Real for a lot of the season. Playing next to Declan Rice would make his game there a breeze. This would mean Foden playing in his preferred role as a 10 and an actual left winger in either Palmer or Gordon making England a much more balanced team. kevinhectoring

With Morris’ initial investment he’d have taken us up 15/16 easily Not absurd when his head had been turned by. Newcastle United. During that period if time he was away from Derby, leaving the training in Paul Simpson’s hands, then turning up and setting the team up with no thought of what they had been training on, and our performances fell away. It was right fir him to go because although he said he was committed to Derby, his heart was already 140 miles up the A1. Kathcairns

Performances of course could also have fallen away as we had no defensive midfielder or striker. Or like you say could be because of a made up story.
