Dejuane won 'both' penalties

Seems to be doing the right things , hopefully he can get a rotational spot in the first team to further develop him or get a loan move to a better standard next season

I'd love to see what he could do in League 1 next season - say with 'Nigel Clough's Mansfield' (tm).

We need to see how he does during pre-season and make the call whether a loan or being around the first team is the best next step for his development. We still don't have the luxury of large transfer or player budgets, so having him around might be necessary with the amount of turnover expected this summer.

Players develop at different rates and the path for one player won't necessarily suit another player. Yes, he's only 18, but he is showing how he can handle the physical aspects of the lower league men's game and seems a class above already. Physically he seems ready now, and mentally being with his parent club at a higher level could really help him flourish next season.

Im glad to see we aint rushing anything with his career. If hes a genuine talent im sure this new era of derby will ensure he gets what he needs.

Haven't they got to play something stupid like 5 games in 10 or something like that?

They play 5 league games in 10 days with the last day of the regular season on Saturday. The playoff eliminator is then in midweek and the semi final on Saturday with the final the Saturday after. Its a crazy world in the National League. Then they've got the FA trophy final! The odds will certainly be stacked against them in the playoffs

What I like about the two penalties is Brown timed his runs well and stayed onside. Some players in the first team need some lessons from him... Also, he had the pace to get to the ball and the nous to take the contact and go down.

Send him on loan to Notts County season to train with David McGoldrick!

Bizarre situation unfolding at Gateshead who were due to start the playoffs this week…

They have not met the ground criteria for entry to the EFL. To be more precise, the ground security portion where they need at least a 10 year lease.

Therefore, they have effectively been thrown out of the play offs and won’t compete in them.

Gateshead rapidly trying to fight it.

Here's the EFL decision.

I think it's very sad when it looks like the EFL are hindering, rather than promoting progress.

That’s a disgrace. No better than they were before or during our struggles

Just don’t understand the point in playing the season if this is what the outcome is.

Yet again the efl showing just how inept they are, completely useless.
