Guest Posted November 19, 2022 Share Posted November 19, 2022 Wildsmith 7 (solid as ever, some brave claims... kicking a bit off though last night) Rooney 7 (steady and sensible in possession) Stearman 6 Forsyth 7.5 (I know it's a league lower but can't believe how reliable he's been this season, hardly puts a foot wrong! Can't blame him for the near miss) Cashin 7 (another good contribution) Smith 6.5 (continuing to do his best out of position and was steady again) Thompson 6.5 (plenty of energy, good to see him driving forward - has really started to come on in recent weeks) Barkhuizen 6 Bird 6.5 (thought he competed well and passed well under pressure) Hourihane 6.5 (battled well) Sibley 5.5 (not his best position I know and up against a decent opponent in Dale; the choice seems to be let him go past or hack him down... surprised he wasn't subbed at half-time) McGoldrick 7.5 (best away performance from him so far? Stearman 6 Tight organisation Forsyth 7.5 In a rich vein of form. Backwards & forwards almost got on the end of 2 which flashed just wide. Very fond of this Legend. Cashin 7 Clean sheet. Keystone of a tight defence. Smith 7 Tight perpetual motion Thompson 7 His head is up again after Tuesday - Got around like a tug boat on the sea and battled bravely against tough midfield opponents Barkhuizen 6.5 Looked fresh & feisty Bird ? 7 Tireless work Hourihane 7 Mobility & some classy passing Sibley 6.5 Grinded away playing LWB McGoldrick 8 MOTM Another top shelf display of quick nimble football and almost scored when he crashed a shot off the bar Osula 6 Late lively addition Collins 7 Provded muscled presence & glanced an early header wide Dobbin 6 Late lively addition #2 We shaded a tight contest. Most likely to score. Warney has made us harder to beat. The Team have remained consistent over 5 matches & I’m proud of the efforts they have put in. A deserved 3 day rest incoming. Steve Buckley’s Dog Posted November 19, 2022 Share Posted November 19, 2022 Wildsmith-7.5 - handling is superb Rooney- 6 - taken off at just the right time as was beginning to struggle Stearman-6 Forsyth-7.5 - form of his life, really pleased for him - neither Davies nor Chester should get back in ahead of him on this form Cashin-7 Smith-6 Thompson -6 Barkhuizen-6.5 Bird ? -7 - thought he was much better than of late - even went in for a 50/50 Hourihane -6.5 Sibley-6 - struggled first half and I was concerned but second half didn’t really see that winger at all, much to his credit (he’s not a left wing back) McGoldrick-7.5 - some of his touches oozed quality, shame about hitting the cross bar Osula-6 Collins-6 Dobbin-6 - liked his foul overall I thought we defended really well.
