We’ve made £280k in tv money and prize money so far, maybe another £20k in gate receipts.

If we can beat Barnsley, that’s another £105k on prize money and I imagine around 50k in gate receipt money (after deductions).

Thats £430k which is a player on our wage cap of 8k a week next season which probably wasn’t in the budget.

Potentially a really good round four draw could generate £500k - £1 million as well. That’s another £8k a week player that is not in the budget.

Liverpool probably got us £750k which is another £8k a week player. None of this is in the budget.

I don’t expect us to go up. The club have actively said in the past they don’t budget for income in cup competitions but we could get past two million by beating Barnsley AND getting a cup draw. For where we are right now, that’s HUGE.

I always like home cup draws against lower league/same league teams. We should be expecting to progress.
