Have you not got similar memories of Chelsea, Millwall, Leeds, Manure and Spuds fans ? The worst fans I have personally encountered are Millwall and Man Utd ?

Not particularly, no.

Never been to The Den... new or old, and never been to Elland Rd.  (Same goes for Brum).
No grief at WHL (x 1 visit), nor Stamford Bridge (also x 1 visit).  Both in the away end, but no colours on show out and about.

No bother in 4 visits to OT, 3 of which were away end with colours on show outside (The first was home end with utd mate and his dad, as a schoolboy).

As for the infamous bovver at the BBG, I was not there for either of the Man U or Chelsea shenanigans.  Was that early 80'S?  I missed a big chunk of that little era.

I did once get involved with visiting Watford fans at Ivy Square, and missed the all important last day win to avoid the drop, as I was "otherwise detained".  I suppose I should have a dislike for their fans, but then it's only Watford, so no point, really! ?

Worst aggro for me, at away grounds?  Definitely Anfield & Goodison, closely followed by Ayresome Park (I assume it's ok to carry on a dislike of their mob?)  & Molineux.

Worst at home?  Weirdly, Wolves again... but against Grimsby in a League cup semi (?) replay at a neutral BBG.  Technically, I was there as a neutral, but I did exit the Grimsby half of the Pop Side, and I just happened to be wearing a Black & White scarf I had lying around, so I guess I was just asking for trouble!  ?

I also got in a scrape at Chesterfield v Orient.  Rams away to Bolton got postponed just as we pulled out of Derby Bus Station, and the privately hired coach had just been paid for... so opted for the above, arriving at a time to coincide with the pubs opening, but still a good few hours to while away until kick off!   A good session later, we were surprised to be escorted to the home end, seeing as we were local rivals.  Some flat cap copper decided as we were Derbyshire, we were home-enders.  Didn't stay in there long, as things turned as ugly as anticipated, and we were then kindly (and wisely) escorted around the pitch perimeter to enjoy the rest of the afternoon with the O's fans... who were very welcoming, I hasten to say, as they were when I visited their own ground.

Sorry... Whaat was the question again?  ???

Anyone know what sort of £££££ the club will generate from the game? Are gate receipts shared?

45% of gate receipts, As for cash, Depends on how many fans attend and how much LFC charge ?‍♀️

Taken from a supporters forum.

The League (Carabao) Cup follows a similar system to the FA CUP. Gate receipts are split 45 per cent each way, regardless of where the game is played. Smaller teams can often walk away from a clash against one of the big six Premier League sides with around £500,000 in the bank.
