Charlton. Pompey, Exeter, Bristol, MK Dons, Wycombe, Cheltenham, forest Green

I'm going to try and get to as many as poss. Charlton ticked off. ?

Forgot Oxford, Peterborough. Ipswich and Plymouth borderline - the South is wider than you think East to West.

Derby is 170 miles, Exeter about 105 Peterborough 140.

Funnily enough, a Charlton bloke I was speaking to was complaining most of league 1 appeared to be "up north".

For those of us that live outside Derby how many away games will be closer to you than home matches? For me it will be four, Shrewsbury, Port Vale, Burton and Bolton (not much in it, time wise but shorter distance). Hoping to get to all these grounds.

Shrewsbury, Burton and Port Vale I think....

Vale Park is about 10 minutes away so definitely that one! ?

Burton is about 10 minutes closer. Bolton is exactly the same as coming to Derby.

Not sure on the rest. I haven’t looked at the league table yet this season so beyond the obvious teams (Ipswich, Sheff Wed, Bolton etc) I’m not entirely sure of the full list of tinpot clubs in this division.

My nearest team is now Burton, in over 50 years of supporting the Rams, I believe this to be the first season that we don't have a fixture in the West Midlands.

Port Vale are tinpot, but c’mon mate, don’t deny their existence….?

By West Midlands, I mean the actual Metropolitan County of West Midlands, including Cov, Blues, Villa, Baggies, Wolves and Walsall. The general west Midlands area could include Stoke, Port Vale and Shrewsbury, maybe Burton.

Last time we were in the 3rd division, I remember going to Walsall's old ground, Fellows Park, sitting alongside a Walsall fan, in the home end with 1,000s of other Derby fans who couldn't get an away ticket.
