Where do you think Derby will finish in the League table this season?

Following the conclusion of the season I will put all the names in the hat that guessed correctly, the winner will receive a £40 eGift voucher which can be used against selected tickets.

To enter, you must vote for 1 of the 6 options in the poll only.

Any written answers will be for discussion only and not be placed in the draw.

The poll will close at 2pm on Saturday 30th July 2022, at which point this post will be updated with all entries with a number for the draw.

The prize will be coming out of my own back pocket, this is not being run in connection with the club.

If a member receives a permanent ban during the season, or request their account to be closed, the entry in this competition will be invalid and removed from the draw.

Great to see all this optimism. Personally, with my objective hat on, I think we'll finish just outside the play-offs, so plumped to 7-10. A couple more key signings and would revise it to "Play-offs".

Holding off my vote until we've finished signing and re-signing everyone we need to.  We're building a confidence inducing squad to be fair albeit at the more mature end of the spectrum (could read as experienced).   I'm not sure I buy into the "we're storming the league" fanfare from some quarters.  This will be no cakewalk.

Secondly, I would hope our votes remain private & confidential, as I am reluctant to admit what I have voted for, in fear of jinxing the season, and we end up outside the top one!   ? ?

Not an easy league this, yes we could easily win it, but top 6 is a more realistic place. There are some decent teams with decent players we will need to be at the top of our game every week and shel quickly

Yes I went for play offs. As you say the fan base gives us a real advantage. So if we make the play offs I reckon we’re favourites for promotion

The continued support of the Sunderland fans meant they spent a few years in League one before promotion.

Sheffield wednesday and Ipswich the favourites for promotion this year, sure their fans help.

Ultimately derby will challenge for promotion this season but does it have the team depth

They have Wycombe to to finish outside the playoffs on goal difference, that would go down well.

I think the only prediction I'd hold stock by is that sheffield wednesday and Ipswich are likely to be the teams to beat this season.

Sheffield Wednesday could become even stronger if they beat derby to rangers player roofe ...

The 29-year-old has 34 goals in 72 appearances in all competitions since signing from Anderlecht two years ago.

The former Leeds United striker was in fine form last season, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions. 

I think that maybe if derby sign roofe, prepare for promotion.

On the basis that LR wants 4 more players (I think we need 6 more, but what do I know ?) and they are the calibre of who has already come through the door, I've gone for top 6.  I don't think we're quite there yet but a few more quality signings and we could have a great season ?
