I'd absolutely love him to say and I'm sure he said that earnestly, but if a Premier League club offered him a contract I'm sure he'd take it over us.

Hasn't he already been let go by Arsenal though?

So was luke plange and now he's heading to crystal palace. I'm sure a lot of our players say they want to stay with us but not many would reject premier league contracts.

But there was no option (or choice in his case, sold by admin) for Plange, just like Festy. But now (hopefully) Ebiowei could sign for us?

If he learns to cross and not trying to be ronaldinho everytime hes gonna make it to the prem. Only thing letting him down is doing too much and losing the ball.

He one of the best crosses of the ball I have seen in years - a centre forwards dream

seths-cap

If we sell this lad I’ll be gutted, especially to bloody Leeds. Personally I wouldn’t sell them a snotty hanky.

Don't worry. We won't be selling him.

He's free to sign for anyone he likes. He's out of contract.

? that’s a really good point

He could sign for us, but multiple prem clubs are reportedly interested in him. If there is a bidding war id expect at least one of those clubs to offer something neither the club or malcolm can resist.

He's up there with the highest in the league for expected assists per game. If our strikers could finish he'd have more actual assists. He puts numerous crosses in a game but either no one can score/no one is there when he takes on a player.

Cant argue that our forwards have let us down but i bet hes lost possession more than anyone aswell when theres been better options.

If we can keep current squad and just get 2 decent strikers we'll be flying

I hope you mean due to our general lack of firepower due to embargoes etc, rather than any individual failures of kids or those past their best-before date.

Totally agree with the last bit, though.

I'm not sure I can find the exact stats for the above, but Ebiowei has the leageue high for complete dribbles this season and in terms of Derby is dispossessed on average the third most in the squad (Behind Plange and Ebosele, level with Sibley).

He also averages 0.7 successful crosses per game, the joint highest in the squad (Bird), and 2.3 inaccurate cross per game, the second highest in the squad (Byrne).

In comparison to the rest of the league our crossing numbers are very low, both attempted and successful, which would suggest an intentional strategy to avoid crossing the ball. (23rd most accurate, 18th most inaccurate)

I meant the only side of the game we didnt do well is the important part. Scoring goals. we've done brilliantly to claw the points back tho ?excited for next season

He's 18, played a handful of games and improved virtually every game. Not sure what you expect from him tbh.
