I don't mind that he's gone but he will likely rot on a bench at palace or be loaned out year on year and never settle. Just seems a shame to me. But he’s better than league one, got the chance to move back home and play for a premier league side. Also if we can only offer 2 year deals and Palace have given him a 5 year deal then that’s a lot of security for him, especially if he was to get a bad injury.
