There's not much to bid for, is there?

For 28 million quid you get the honour of paying someone else's debts, half a dozen players, a nice badge and 3rd division TV revenue.

Well there must be bids over 30m or they would not turned down bid would they.

For sale: Massively debt-ridden homeless Championship club in relegation zone in season run-in and in poor form with very few players in contract. Offers in excess of a squillion pounds just to service existing eye-watering level of debt.

There’s an argument here for any bidder … pay low and get 15 points or wait until liquidates and hope for League Two place next season. Devil and deep blue sea stuff.

There has to be bidders.

How so? Its a very attractive proposition to pay millions to inherit someone else's unpaid bills isn't it and be lucky if you get chucked in half a dozen youth players as a sweetener.

Find it hard not more buyers have been interested when it gets put like that.

So the sale of Chelsea seems to be going ahead with great speed. With a deadline of Friday in place apparently.

Talk of one American worth £28bn being part of one consortium. I’ve no idea where the money goes after a sale is complete because it can’t go to Abromavich.

Then we look at Derby and absolutely nothing appears to be happening, no comments from the admins. Bids being rejected then … quiet. What the heck is going on at our club. Will we still be here next season? Will we be able to buy season tickets? Will a new owner also own the ground or will they lease it from Mel?

Goodness only knows

We’ve been sold for a hotdog. If what Nixon says is correct then either it’s league 1 on -15 or league 2 as a phoenix. So sad either way and by securing funding til the end of the season we don’t upset the integrity of the league.

Admins have had a stinker. But what the Chelsea situation has highlighted is that theres not a shortage of sports minded billionaires. Just lazy money men that can’t be bothered to actually graft for an end product and want the glamour of a London club.

Depends on how you look at. If they pay what is asked they get the stadium, training ground, academy and a club with a big fan base and lots of potential ? Getting that for half a Jack Grealish seems like a bargain ?
