From that night's squad Cashin, Sibley, Knight, Buchanan, Thompson and Bird ? regular starters for us, Whittaker and Jordan Brown forging decent careers elsewhere in the EFL. Tyree Wilson (still with us) and Archie Brown plagued by injury. Alex Matthews now starting for under 23s. It's a tremendous return, really and our academy has been a shining light and beacon of hope for our future through these tough times. Take a bow, Justin Walker! ??? MorleyRam Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 Jack Thompson started for the u18’s today. Considering he’s only 15 it’s been a crazy week for him. Travelled with u23’s to West Ham on Monday, trained with the first team on Thursday and played for the 18’s today. I watched the game as I only live 5 minutes away and thought he was Superb. His communication and character is outstanding for such a young lad. Jubbs Posted May 9, 2022 Share Posted May 9, 2022 Couple of trialists playing for the U23's tonight. Demico Burton - Left back, played for Birmingham, Villa and Stourbridge this season.
