I thought they handled Spurs well, in the main. Unlucky to concede from a bit of pinball, really.

You can just tell the lads that are playing are effectively an age group behind the other team. There's 16-18 year olds mixing it with 20-23s. Take away the football development, just the physical development alone is obvious.

Seemed to be a reflection of some of the first team games - plenty of work rate and fight, just not quite enough quality up front. Stretton was inches away from two really good crosses from Grewal-Pollard and McDonald, mind. Our better moments came from when Matthews and Robinson pushed up from midfield.

Really like Clarke, sorta reminded me of Tomori, but with a bit more strength. Loved it when he stepped forward Keogh-style, but like those times, everyone else just stood and watched...

A West Ham team containing Andriy Yarmolenko too, by the way ?

.. and played in a Stadium converted for West Ham's use at massive public expense, and leased to them at a rent that is anything but "fair value", in case anyone in Bristol or Nottingham, or anywhere else tbh, is looking for something to get indignant about....

Would this be after they played 2 illegal players and somehow escaped points penalties?
