9 points above Sheff W, ca t see them gaining 10pts on us to overtake us so leaves just 1 more team to stay ahead of. Win Friday and we will be 11pts clear of Rotherham with them having Reading on Sat

Wycombe beat Reading on Saturday. Rock hard league. If we can beat Florist and Cardiff then we are playing at top six level.

Cardiff are on a run aren't they?

Need to be a bit more up for it than Watford - can't be giving them a lead.

Cardiff have 16 points from last 6 games and top over those games. Florist have 13 and we have 12 so tough match coming up. Barnsley can go to 51 points with their game in hand

starting to spread out a bit now and there are now 4 teams needing to start to get results to drag others in

Birmingham15:00QPR

brum lost 4 out of last 5. A bit of daylight starting show and this is not an easy game.  QPR form side at the moment with games in hand and must be hoping for a late playoff push.

Blackburn15:00Coventry

Looking over their shoulders, Blackburn lost their last 5.  Mowbray has some injury problems but he is not alone.  Patience will only last so long

Luton15:00Sheff Wed

after performing like promotion hopefuls the wheels have come off at wendy.  lost their last 3 and although not quite in must win mode yet this is the sort of game they need to win

Rotherham15:00Reading

Reading lost to wycombe last time out which dented their promotion hopes and they are very motivated to put that failure to rights today.  Rovrum have gone 7 matches since last beating Reading.  Games in hand are all very handy if they can be turned into points

This is an interesting one given that we’ve drawn now for the first time in ages. When we win or lose its self evident whether that’s a good or bad result. A draw is a bit of a grey area. It depends on the results of teams around us now whether or not that’s a point further away from the relegation zone / closer to the playoffs, or two points closer to the relegation zone.

so I’ll be following today’s results with great interest.

It’s a point closer to the 50 odd that we need....
