Went up Snowdon last year and I saw a man trying to get up it in flip flops. Was about 7 degrees at the base, so probably about 1 or 2 degrees at the summit. Hope he lost one of his toes. No mention of the size of the donation on the (Beeb) article I just read, and I doubt £200 would cover the actual costs incurred, but respect to them for holding their hands up, and at least making a good fist at making amends. Plenty of kno-beds out there who would be just laughing it off now, with their mates!
