Christ I came of Footymad Derby because of all the negativity on that forum and some on here are even worse Yes were not playing well but calling for Rowetts  head is a bit premature he's three years of failure to sort out People going on about Ince and Hughes they asked to go if they had wanted to stay there's nothing to stop them they were under contract As soon as Ince new Martin was coming back he's was going I was at Brentford it wasn't good but that's were we are at the moment Rowett has said on moire than one occasion there's players here who have been at the club to long you can't just boot them out takes time just be patient lads and give him the chance he deserves

Ince couldn't wait to go he even skipped his £1m transfer bonus to get out now that ain't to be sniffed at.

In the three years before Rowett we were winning matches at a rate he can currently only dream of. Play-offs twice and miss out on the final day. Of course that has raised everyone's expectations which does Rowett no favours.

I'm staggered that people are seriously thinking of changing the manager. Clement, Steve, Pearson...didn't get long enough to prove /disprove they would get it right.

Possibly they wouldn't have. ..but we lurched to the next 'fad./ messiah' . before we could be sure. Meaning we now have a total  hotch potch of players, style, ideas. We need to just stick with one man ....give him chance to establish a style and if we finish mid-table so be it.  Its mental to consider anything else.

Patience, for god's sake.

In the first season of the following two managers were you calling for their head?

Arthur Cox W 3 D 2 L 4

Jim Smith W 2 D 3 L 4

Neither had as good a start as Rowett this season.  Calm down and stop being so demanding of immediate gratification.

Wrong, last 3 seasons we've finished 8th, 5th & 9th to the booooos of the Derby faithful.

Yes your right but were 9 games in but it did no favours for Clement and Pearson  There are still players in this squad who down tools when it doesn't suit them

But when I pointed out that him and Hughes wanted to leave two posters who think they’re ITK reckon they left once GR told them that he wanted to move them on ?

I presume you meant my post ? You didn't need to be ITK as you put it about Ince, he did an interview on sky regarding the timelines of events.  In this he openly admits that once Huddersfield were interested he jumped at the chance, so not quite sure what you are referring to ?

Oh, he also says this is after his return to pre season once gary had told him at the end of last he wanted to sell him To raise funds.  No conspiracy theories, no ITK for that bit of information, and as I said in the post I could understand GRs reasoning behind that one.

You and another poster.

I’m not doubting what you say but why would he waive a bonus if he’s free to go?

Surely that wasn’t the deal breaker at Huddersfield’s End?

Whatever happened, GR has shown big balls to sell him and Will who I still can’t believe isn’t part of our midfield.

The price was lower than we expected, neither team would budge and therefore Ince waiving a bonus helped derby achieve the minimum they wanted. Once again just what I heard, and rowett would have kept him had the figures not have added up.

Hughes is not a GR player, Phillips alluded to him not being the type of player who can handle the games that the championship throw at you, what I'm more surprised about is that MM who openly said he was against the Hendrick move, employed a manager who shifted on our best youth player to come through the ranks at the earliest opportunity.

That's a disgrace in my opinion, if indeed he said that. If I was Hughes and Phillips alluded that comment I'd be asking him just what he brought to the club, let's be honest here, none of our strikers are a roaring success under his tutelage.

Can't believe some of the comments coming out here and on other forums, part with another manager ? ..........we might as well fit revolving doors and have the team run out to the tune of "The Magic Roundabout "  !!         GROW UP !

If you have to keep sacking manager, maybe the guy hiring them needs some help in the decsion making,

or maybe the fans, im thinking of the guy who started this thread for one..... needs to get some realistic expectations.

The 2014 team was very specialist in how it played, and featured many players who cant adapt to a different system (more balanced style of play). So the minute we decide to go away from that style, the new manager must be given time, a lot of time, we are talking 3 transfer windows, to build a new side.
