I'll continue supporting the team regardless and hope that the doubts I have prove unfounded (although he can't unsell Hughes unfortunately). Hardly an heretical position to take. As for Toral, I'd be quite pleased about this. Yeah I'd have doubts about whether he would succeed here or not too, but I think it's a risk well worth taking. Watkins is 21 so only a year younger and never played at this level so is surely more of a risk than Toral would be. Plus Rowett has the knowledge of what Toral would bring to the team as well as an idea to how he would fit within the squad in terms of personality. Kennington Ram Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Compared to some of the players we've signed over the last 3 years, £2m for a young player with experience in the division and pedigree from the Barcelona and Arsenal academies (bearing in mind we've just sold about £19m of players) is not exactly a bad investment.
