Jota - Signed for Birmingham City

Burnley, Swansea, Newcastle, Everton, West Ham and Leicester all been linked to him in the press. If they are all in the mix I think he'll try to stay in London unless he sees Everton as going somewhere fast.

The question is does he want to play every week or be a squad player cos he ain't gonna get in Everton's first 11. The other teams are all gonna be scrappin to stay in PL and if the chips are down then flair players like Jota will be sacrificed for players "who put a shift in". Whereas in the Championship it's the flair players that make the difference, personally I don't think he will come to Derby much as ld like that. But all this s**t about he doesn't want to play against Brentford is b******s.

Five prem teams have put him on their "well if dont get x,u or Z player we can try to sign Jota" list.

Let's not get carried away until Villa are linked.

What about player Y?

We should camp out outside Griffin Park, wait for Jota's replacement to turn up, and sign him instead for a 10/th of the fee.

They certainly seem to identify talent well, and even if we get the wrong fella, those PP toilets don't clean themselves.

Absolutely.

Every year we find ourselves linked with a completely unrealistic target which we eventually miss out on, Forestieri, Antonio, Charlie Adam, Rhodes, McCormack, Kodjia etc etc etc and now Jota.

How about we go and sign the raw talent for much less from the lower leagues.

we seem to constantly be trying to fish from the same pond as most of the top championship clubs, some of which have better fishing tackle than ours.
