Top signing this, well done Derby. Shame he can't play tonight, but absolutely key to bring in a winger, and it appears he was our top target, so glad we were patient to get him for 5 million rising to 7 million potentially, rather than just spunking all of our cash immediately.

Why the stupid promotional video thing with the pathetic attempt at being "cool" with the emoji eyes?

Have we learned nothing about overhyping big money signings? Just announce him normally without the crap promo gubbins. Way to pile the pressure on immediately.

Tom insisted on this and that is why the negotiations took so long. Mel had seen the reaction to the previous videos and said never again.

As we expected, he can't feature tonight but will be ready for the Bolton game. It doesn't say if it's a 4 or 5 year deal in that article, just a 'long term contract.'

'Long term' here means 12 months if ya lucky! Or is that managers not players? ?

Don't think they're trying to be "cool". Think they're just trying to be contemporary.

Ultimately their twitter feed is social media marketing innit? Using emoji is just part of the marketing game now.
