Srg got a reaction from StaffsRam in Matchday Thread: 19/7/22Stevenage (a) 19:30ko.
Don’t know if you’ve watched Rosenior’s interview but he highlighted several things you’ve said, and said we have organised another friendly too - which should be announced today.

Nice to see the first overreactions happened before the first league game.

Yep - don’t get all this more minutes in the tank BS. We should have thrashed them 8 - 0.

It’s so hot I’d accept an invite for a pool party from Michael Barrymore, let alone think about playing a game of football.

Srg got a reaction from samtheram83 in Do we have a tough start with the fixtures this season
Formatting hell fire. That’s unreadable on an iPhone.
To answer the thread title, yes. With Charlton, Peterborough, Barnsley and Wycombe considered top sides at this level and Oxford there or there abouts, it’s not ideal while we are trying to find some cohesion.

Get that point of view, but just as a devil’s advocate… the best will still shine through, even if it’s average in a poor display because of the calibre of teammates. Add to that the staff see them every day training and have done for years… I’m sure they have a good idea.

Nearly a sellout away end tomorrow if people don’t melt before they get there.

Could be one for u21s and see what happens from there, like Nunn.

Guess it’s the business plan put forward. Maybe their owner was putting more money in? No idea but would make sense that the business plans aren’t identical.

Srg reacted to Albert in Do we have a tough start with the fixtures this season
"Do we have a tough start?"
"I would be happy with 27 points from the first 12 matches."
??? 27 points from the first 12 matches would be nailed on promotion form. 2 points per game is title challenger stuff, you're putting your 'happy with' target at 2.25 points per game. Wigan were on 25 after 12 last season. So no, you're not rating that as a 'tough run'.
Honestly, I'd be happy with 18-20 points in our first 12 matches. It'd have us in with a shout of the playoffs, and honestly, we've just been relegated, our squad has been shaken through its core. It'll take time for us to find our feet, a 'touch run' or not. We'll likely start slow and build as the squad gets used to each other, the league, etc.
There's no need to expect miracles this season.

Srg got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Kirchner- A risk or a potential reward
He was so into Crypto I imagine he just about may have had enough money at Christmas. Then the arse has fallen out of it severely in the last 3 months and it seems to me he’s lost all money as a result.

Srg got a reaction from EnigmaRam in New signings, who will be first...and next?
Disagree. If NML or Barkhuizen get injured we don’t have any backup at all. If Collins gets injured we only have Stretton, for example. Now, how many permanents is a different question because some of these can be loans for sure.

Srg got a reaction from Comrade 86 in Kwaku Oduroh - signed 2 year deal
Love this signing. Actually comes with a better resume than Plange or Ebiowei did, for example, and whilst it might take him a little bit of time to really show what he’s capable of it’s a signing that really encapsulates that we have a future. Hopefully it pans out and we’re extending the deal this time next year.

Srg got a reaction from Sparkle in Matchday Thread v Hertha Berlin (H) 16th July 16:00
5 of them started their last game of the season - but I can’t see any of the others on the bench so don’t know if they’ve left or what. It’s plausible, they had a terrible season last year.

Srg got a reaction from jagerbob in Wiil you be disappointed if we finish outside the top 2???
Disappointed? No. I don’t even expect us to finish inside the top 2.
