RamontheMoor reacted to Millenniumram in Waghorn and Washington will be vital
Waghorn is currently technically our best forward.
Yep, I just said that. Lord help us.

RamontheMoor reacted to MadAmster in My thoughts if I was David Clowes
DC may well be thinking "who are all these idiots? Complaining online based on a whole 4 games..." Why did I waste £50M enabling them?

RamontheMoor got a reaction from Loftyhites in Season tickets on sale
My son has just bought a season ticket at Stoke (don't ask 🤬) a few games in and they reduced the price pro-rata. I assume they will do the same if you ask. Maybe?

RamontheMoor got a reaction from therealhantsram in Andy Yiadom
Didn't Warne say in his post match radio Derby interview that he thought Ward's injury was bad and Wilson still has an 'issue'.

RamontheMoor reacted to Kernow in Is Clowes Blameless?
Critique may be a better term to use than blame. At the end of the day, he’s a fan just like everyone else here, except he’s got a hell of a lot more money. He chose to use some of it to save our club, when nobody else would/could.
As a fan he’s going to have his opinions and decisions, doesn’t mean they’re going to be right. Some of us may have made the same decision, others would’ve done things vastly different. That’s fine, but it’s not our money at stake. That’s why it’s quite easy to say things like “if I was Clowes I’d sack him straight away”, but if it was costing you £1.5mil (rough estimate), then you may not be so quick to pull the trigger.
The bloke is one year in to a role he never really wanted, and never expected to have. I’m not going to start pointing the finger at him. Mel Morris made lots of questionable decisions, but that’s not what got him his current opinion from Derby fans. He got that by mismanaging us and leaving us in possibly the biggest mess he could’ve left us is. As long as Clowes runs Derby sensibly, he may make wrong decisions, but that’s different from taking actions that’ll harm the club.
Clowes is an incredibly experienced businessman, but an incredibly inexperienced football man. He’s a fan like us all, doesn’t mean you have a natural talent to run a club, especially one that means so much to you. Mistakes probably have already happened, and will continue to happen, but it’s a learning experience and I won’t turn on him for that.

RamontheMoor reacted to May Contain Nuts in So who would we have then?
Some of their fanbase like to do this though
Would you trust their judgement on anything, after seeing that?

RamontheMoor reacted to duncanjwitham in Who bought these players?
When we sign players, I normally have a look at what the fans at their previous clubs are saying about them, maybe skim over their pages on whoscored, transfermarkt etc to get a feel for what they might be like.
Luton fans said Bradley's legs had gone.
Peterborough fans said Ward struggles to beat the first man with his crosses, and isn't comfortable at wingback.
Elder seems to have never played wingback before in his career.
Nelson was part of the (I think) worst defence (by goals conceded) in the Championship last season.
And that's just from 5 minutes googling. You do have to wonder who's scouting these players.

If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't be able to start this topic.

RamontheMoor reacted to The_Sheriff in Is Clowes Blameless?
My personal opinion is not to criticise clowes.
Hes the reason we have a club. Hes running it sustainably so we dont have this threat again.
Sure the decisions hes made may not pay off but thats normal in life and business.

RamontheMoor reacted to Andicis in Is Warne living on borrowed time?
My thoughts are that this is an embarrassingly reactionary thread 2 games into a season.

RamontheMoor reacted to Jourdan in v Blackpool (H) Match Thread
The results and performances are tough to take, but hopefully Warne and his team learn from this and make the necessary changes and push for the necessary signings.
It doesn’t look good so far, but some of the posts on here are extremely reactionary and exaggerated.
Yes, what we have tried so far hasn’t worked. You can see that both pro and anti Warne camps are in agreement there. No-one is in denial. It’s the worst start imaginable.
However it is a very recoverable position, so do you abandon a manager and his project on the basis of two games and 180 minutes of meaningful football with a reshaped squad?
Seasons and fates are not defined by two games. Wins v Burton, Oxford and Fleetwood would present a totally different picture.
We need to stay calm and Warne needs to deliver a response and quickly.

RamontheMoor reacted to TINMANTED in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
Waghorns heart obviously isn't in this,so not going to be fully committed. A waste of a wage in my opinion we already have one slow useless striker, why waste what limited resources we have on another.warne is going totally against what he said,he said we needed ,he said we needed a younger pacey goal scorer and we get another ageing slug, rapidly getting tired of listening to Warnes waffle

so if we all promise to visit him, say once a month (that’s a lot of visits), would he splash the cash ? I’d sign up for that

RamontheMoor reacted to Zag zig in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
He must’ve been sat in the stands thinking I can offer more than this for sure.
He can and will once he’s fit and fully integrated. The bloke has played an higher level all his career, he will make a difference; don’t get the doubters.

RamontheMoor reacted to Day in Derby County x Molson Coors Partnership
As a Madri drinker with zero shame, I can honestly say I would drink it even if it was called Burto from Burton.
I was given an early tip off by @Srg to give it a go once it's out there, first place I found it was in Hull.
12 months later it's exploded everywhere.
I'm under no illusion it's basically a stronger Coors, as an ex Coors drinker it's perfect.
I get that drinking something mainstream that's available in most pubs and supermarkets isn't a cool thing to admit publicly these days but there you go.
Signing of the summer this is.

RamontheMoor got a reaction from FlyBritishMidland in Paul Warne on Sportscene for full hour 1st August
You seem to have conveniently forgotten to answer the second part of the question 🤔... In answer to it, he never scored 20+ in a season prior to last year doing it at the ripe old age of 34/35.
