Gambling on getting promoted? Haven’t we been there, done that? And that was a gamble where the prize (moving from the Championship into the Premier League) was surely significantly bigger than moving from League 1 up to the Championship.

Worry when we get there.
We all know a decent championship team is very different to a very good league 1 team.
We're probably going to have 10 or more signings this summer whichever way it goes.
 

Of course, and to those who parted with their money it is bitterly disappointing. But to have a reaction like this on here and on Twitter, you would have thought there were 30,000 there tonight. The attendance of these games represents the appetite for the competition. Clearly people aren't that bothered. I didn't go tonight as in my opinion the competition is a nonsense.

I think it’s backfired us not playing some more youngsters now in this competition. We’ve learnt nowt from playing our first team players and now don’t have a final to fall back on. This was an ideal time to sound out the Weston’s, Robinsons, Browns and Fapetu. 
The league was always the priority, but a final would’ve been nice. This was an ideal opportunity wasted to give some U18s/23s a go.

Not sure how the majority of fans can say anything about tonight. If we had sold 25,000 there’s no way Bradford would’ve won. 
 
Like I said pre match, it was an inconvenience we could do without. The real losers are the likes of Sibley, Elder, Fornah etc who looked off it when the responsibility was on their shoulders.

Circa 22k supporters couldn't be arsed to turn up, Circa 15 players couldn't arsed to play...sums up this competition, You can't keep turning the tap on and ask players to perform when they aint fussed, It's nowt to do with pride or application...it's about promotion.

Fornah - think Warne needs to get rid! Started season with promise, but he’s looked worse as the season has progressed 

Some might think this is why the likes of Bird and Hourihane start most games.

I went to the last game we played at Florist and commented on here how many of their lot had colours on (shirts, scarves, hats etc) and someone replied it was something they were pushing on social media for that particular game. Seems to have stuck, maybe we could do similar? 

I've never seen him have a good game but today was a real stinker. Too many touches, too much time.
He's had 2 transfers to two top clubs, totalling £120M and has a lorry load of caps for Germany, so somebody must see something but I'll be effed if I can.

I agree with regard to Smith and Sibley but think it's far too soon to be thinking about letting Thompson go. He's had some injuries but I see definite improvement in his all-round play and he's the only midfield player who provides some of the energy needed for how it appears Warne wants play. 

For me, what Warne says he wants has always appealed to me. He talks about high press, pace, athleticism, moving the ball fast, intensity etc. All of that sounds amazing. However, we don’t always see a lot of it… now, is that down to the players he has or him himself? More the former, it seems. As we see it here and there, but still not consistently enough.
I feel we will kick on further if he gets some of the forward players he truly wants instead of the sticking plasters he’s managed to get in the summer. 

I agree. I find it hard to warm to Barkhuizen.
I think Wilson is a much more exciting player and would favour him over Barkhuizen or Ward every time.
Wilson’s not the finished article by any means and his end product can (and will) improve but the intent he brings is the difference.
He might try things that don’t always come off but he is always demanding the ball and in the thick of it.
In a year to 18 months, we could have a really accomplished player on our hands.

As a bit of a Saturday drunken day, watching the match in my local and having friends round this evening, i'd just like to remind everyone of the words to the song we'll be singing over the next few months.
