SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Mucker1884 in Where do you think we'll finish this season?
Didn't we get the draw, which was sufficient, as a Cardiff win sent Paul Warne's Rotherham down at our expense?
We got relegated at QPR didn't we, before jumping around at Blackpool? 🤷♂️

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Tamworthram in Where do you think we'll finish this season?
Finishing as Champions would be a bonus as far as I’m concerned that no one will really remember in a couple of years (it hasn’t done Plymouth much good). If I could somehow fix the result, I’d definitely have Pompey beating Bolton.

Scored again yesterday for Gateshead

They did this last season. There are more seats than they sell. They herded most of us into the middle then all the last minute arrivals got put in the two blocks at each end of the stand, which weren't open earlier on. It's because they can't be arsed to steward it properly.

If the tickets are actually unreserved in a sold out away end, this is a nightmare!

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Chesterfield_Ram in The run-in: some analysis
The Northampton game is an important one psychologically for us. Win and we’re 2 points behind Portsmouth and 7 in front of Bolton. This could pressurise both teams as 1 slip up from Portsmouth could leave them in second place, and a slip up from Bolton could finish off their promotion push.
Yes they’ll have a game in hand, but there are very few easy games left for Portsmouth and Bolton already have to rely on us dropping points and them gaining them.

He couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo when we played at their place, (TF).

Have a gold star mate, but what's that got to do with playing Derby? Could just as easily cite the 4-1kicking from Blackpool a few weeks back. It might be relevant if we were, but the fact is, we're not Oxford, we're Derby.
If your lads pitch up like you have here, bathing in that singular afterglow instead of thinking about how to contain our lads, they might be in for a bit of a rude awakening.

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to On the Ram Page in Paul Warne
Is it too much to ask the anti-Warne brigade to pull their necks in for the last stage of the season, so we are all pulling together in a positive manner? This may help the team greatly, not having to read the negative stuff ( I’m sure they will read this forum).
there will be plenty of time after our fate has been sealed to get the knives or streamers out, whichever side you support.
lets all give a positive final push to get out of this Division.

Surely that is the perfect result for us? We have Bolton to play at home.

Cambridge is gonna be a nightmare, innit? Already considering setting up an account there and buying tickets to their cheapest game just to make it look legit

I will renew, because I know that Warne et al will not be here forever.
There should be excitement about going to the matches, we are second in the table FFS. For me though, there is no more excitement than going to a mid table match with nothing to play for and that is purely down to the football we are playing. I will leave it until the last day to renew though.

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Nuwtfly in Paul Warne
Here's my problem with it, and this has been the problem more or less all season:
Win or lose, 9 times out of 10, it is just awful to watch.
I think if we don't go up, he has to go. I'm not even convinced I'd like to see him manage us in the Championship, but he'll have earned the right to have a go at least, if we get there.

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Topram in Paul Warne
We have one of the best squads in the league yet every game we set up to stop the opponent, how about we go all out and make them change for us? It’s like we’re scared of every other team

SILVERFOXTHERAMSFAN reacted to Gee SCREAMER !! in Barnsley FC v Derby - Match Day Thread
Nothing quality from the wing backs. Why beat a player once when you can go round him three times then get tackled Mr Wilson.
Adams looked as poor as he has good thus far, looked a yard of the pace and his passing was rather dodgy. Awful picking up for their second. We lost some aggression further up when Sibley went off. Wildsmiths distribution was abhorrent so we needed to keep it down and play through and took the constant easy back pass option.
Overall, we looked second best in a game we had to get a result from against an efficient but not overly special side. The usual when it really matters.

Warne will inevitably get pelters for formation etc etc but the fact of it is we couldn't string 2 passes together for the majority of that game, we were shocking in possession that's on the players.
