With a heavy heart, I've let my two go, even though I honestly believe them to be the best pair of seats in the stadium, excluding the South Stand.

Top row of the SW corner, the last two seats before the SS.

Fantastic view of the overall game, you can really see how both teams have set up and the options available throughout the match, they should probably film games from up there to help with coaching.

Really good atmosphere up there too, and you can sit or stand as you please without bothering anyone else. There's even a barrier to rest against when standing, or bang your hand against to make some noise.

    SWU-E, Row Y, Seats 775-776.

    Whoever gets them, enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up on this @Rev, they sound ideal so I’ve snapped them up. We wanted to move somewhere with better atmosphere but I’m very tall (6’6”), so feel bad standing if there’s someone behind me. Top row is perfect.

I’d emailed the club saying we wanted to move seats and they called me today. Very excited about next season, it’s going to be a long summer. Sorry you weren’t able to keep the seats but they’ve gone to a good home.

  2. Our season tickets were by the players’ family block and I was talking to Ebou’s mates / family at half time on Saturday. They said he’s really enjoyed it here, but Cardiff want “extortionate money” for him. I don’t know how informed they are, or what extortionate means in this context, just repeating what they told me.

They also said he’s got a year left on his contract but there’s an option for a further year, so I assume Cardiff have the option to effectively make it a 2 year contract and push the price up.

I’m still confident we’ll get Ebou. I think he’ll want to come and there will be a price at which Cardiff will let him go, hopefully within our budget. Just hope it doesn’t become too protracted.

  3. I was very reluctant to go onto the pitch but my lad was desperate to, so we went on from the West Lower. We ran straight over to Cash and Nels and they ended up on fans’ shoulders. I’ve posted photos on the match day thread, but I’ve got some amazing videos. They’re absolutely loving it, it was pure, joyous celebration. Then Korey Smith was up, Sibs, CBT, Ebou, all going mental and celebrating with the fans.

I’m so pleased we went on and were able to get that close, my son and I will remember it forever and I’m sure the players will.

  4. I’m so happy for David Clowes. The man is a hero for saving our club and to see everyone standing up for him brought a tear to my eye. It was amazing when he lifted that cup. The Be More B4 also really got me, I hope Daniel’s Dad and sister managed to enjoy the day, although it must have been so emotional.

Massive thank you to Paul Warne and all his staff. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he’s worked so hard and fully deserves this.

Wish my dear old Dad could have been there, but I was with my son which is the most beautiful thing. It’s the first time he’s seen us achieve something and he said it’s the best day of his life!

    I bloody love this club.

We have our season tickets on the back row of the East Lower block I so are very close to the block above.
I wouldn't call either block rowdy but it is a good atmosphere compared to many areas of the ground. My dad is 76 and uses a walking stick so we can't go in to the south stand as he'd struggle to cope. My son is 19 so we strike the balance of being in an area with some atmosphere while still being able to have my dad enjoy himself. We've been there for 10 years this year so do enjoy the area. The view isn't too bad in the first half where you may have to crane your neck around the next person to see any action in the North East corner. Its an amazing view in the second half if we are shooting towards the South stand.

The challenge we've had in the lower block is people standing on occasion in front of us which means our row also have to stand or perch to be able to see, which causes friction with a few people on the front of the upper block I who then complain that they can't see.

Me and my lad don't mind the standing, and actually prefer it and would love some safe standing there, but my dad struggles on the odd game it happens etc.

These complaints from those people have actually gone as far as the Club, the council and EFL which has meant the club have had to try and do something about it. Even had some of the Clowe's team sitting in the area to see for themselves what happens etc.

Further up upper block I there is a section of fans who do stand, who haven't been complained about so it is most matches, so if the available tickets are in and around those you may find yourself standing.

If you can't get into the south stand and want some atmosphere and don't mind the potential of standing I'd recommend the upper and lower I blocks to get a season ticket. Although I don't think the lower block is open for season tickets as they have stopped new purchases over the last two years.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. We’ve decided to move to block I of East Upper and I’ve just pushed the button. From @England Ram’s very helpful post it sounds like a decent atmosphere. We’re in row D, so probably quite close to you.

Is this the right time to warn you about my horrendous flatulence problem? I say problem, I quite like it…

Tough one due to your category.

I would relocate now to the SW if I was you. That way you get your loyalty early bird discount and you go to a cheaper area where you want to be anyway.

Then, when those who dont renew seats come available you can move again?

Thanks mate but there aren’t any pairs of seats in the SW, only singles.

  7. I could do with some advice please. Haven’t renewed yet as my lad wants to move. We’re in the West Lower and it’s pretty quiet. The players’ families sit in the block on the left and there isn’t much atmosphere around us. I don’t mind it but he loves our away days and wants to be in the South Stand. There aren’t any season tickets available though and when I contacted the club, they said there might be some after the renewals deadline but can’t guarantee it. It seems unlikely to me.

Looking at the rest of the ground, the only area with 2 seats together that I think would be a better atmosphere is in block I of the East Upper. Does anyone sit around here? It’s close to the away fans, so is it rowdy?

That's a really great selection. Just need to add The Littlest Hobo and it will be perfect.

Littlest Hobo would be my first choice. Also Minder, Knight Rider, Twin Peaks, Peaky Blinders and Stranger Things. I watched the first series of ST in the middle of the night when I had insomnia and it still sends a chill down my spine.
