Im disappointed to not see him sign today. I do think he's a talent. If he got a run of games this move could have benefited both parties.
-
Might be the most entertaining press conference ever. Rooney flips the table and storms out over no signings.
-
Think morrison would be our first signing. He's the man most likely to sign a zero pay contract if it means regular games and a bit of career revival
Maybe curtis davies to help us out for old times sake ?♂️

If true and WBA are interested I would get rid in a flash. Absolutely for me one of the worst signings we have made. What has he ever realistically done in a Derby shirt? Persistently inconsistent, thinks he is Ronaldo and tries knuckle balls from about 60 yards out that are hopeless. Has no pace, constantly fouls and gets carded. He is rubbish, a fraud.
The fact he is our captain now is also ludicrous, it makes no sense at all. I have never ever ever seen any captain qualities, quite the opposite in fact. I bet he is one of our top earners as well as he came when Mel was throwing money about. He’s had one decent half a season at Ipswich… what has he done prior and since that? Nothing. Cash in and use the money for what ever is needed. Jesus this club is a shambles.Nonsense in my opinion. I don't even think he'd be in the top 50 worst signings in the last 20 years
Andy Griffin, bob malcolm, jon macken, danny mills, clod davis, eddie lewis, craig fagen, jordon stuart, nick blackman, jacob butterfield, liam dickenson, paul connelly, albentosa, pereplotkins, blessing kaku, efe ambrose, earnshaw
Thats just off the top of my head. He gets unfairly criticised in my opinion.

I think he gets unfairly called out & is one of our better players.
im not on the wind up
We looked better with him in the side than without him. He can be inconsistant which is frustrating But if he wasn't he wouldn't be playing for us.
There isnt anyone better than him in his position at the club. Im not sure why people want rid of him. To get rid would weaken us. Makes no sense

I actually think we'll win
If we don't sign any players we are clearly worse on paper than last season with contracts expiring and loans returning. But i actually think just because we shouldnt win we actually will. Its the Derby way.

Another example of mel wasting money. Why use drones when he could stand at the side of the road with binoculars

Slightly off topic but mel & the boys keep sating they're negotiating with the EFL about signing free's or what wages we can offer etc.
Now i hate the EFL as much as the next person but it clear what we needed to do. Resubmit our accounts & pay our tax bill & a lot of this is done with & the embargo is lifted ?♂️
I wouldn't be surprised if our accounts failed & the plan is to get as many free transfers through the door before we submit our accounts & get smacked with a points deduction and proper embargo
Having players train with the club who cant sign of play is doing my head in

We're 48 hours away from asking the trialist to pay a £30 signing on fee and set up a £20 a month direct debit for pitch and ref fees ?

Imagine being one of those girls who tries to bed footballers to become famous, but you end up with a very drunk Wayne Rooney sparked out in your Premier Inn room looking like Rab C Nesbitt.
I love this club. We've been boring on the pitch but at least we're entertaining off it

I still think the Erik Alonso takeover was our best option ?

Phil Brown era was the most depressing for me.
Towards the end of the three amigo era when id had enough of them selling our best players for nowt & on the back of burley who had played wonderful stuff & worked miracles with the resources he had. We then appoint that clown that plays the goalkeeping coach & puts the assistant manager upfront. It was like when a pub team is short so the landlord and manager bring their boots for a game
-
Think he's been our best youngster out of the bunch to come through. It shows how far we have fallen having to sell our best talent to forest. I wont be happy seeing him go there but its needs must. If it allows us to bring in players and build a team that can stay up then we have to look at the bigger picture
-
Morrison & Bielik when fit with shinnie & then lawrence, joz and colin as a front three isnt a bad side
-
Its a chance for him to step up. Let's get behind this one. Wouldn't be most peoples first choice but can't keep punishing him forever for the joiners. Hope he steps up and matures into the role

After watching the interview id give him a go. We're under an embargo, he'd be cheap contract wise. He'd have a massive respect for Rooney and hopefully he could put his arm around him and get him going.
Fergie said he was the best youngster he had ever seen. He's clearly a talent and wasted years of his career Because of off the field stuff. Not everyone has the best upbringing. I think he's a nice lad deep down, maybe learnt his lessons but was in with a bad crowd as a kid and the reputation sticks.
Or squad is thin on the ground and i hope we can get him in and give him a run of games to get fit and see what he can do

Really are just a nation of villains. Some right herberts about judging by some of the videos going round

Jagielka can play in goal so two positions for the price of one ... bargain

Well most of the football domestically on sky is the championship or am I missing something
Exactly why they'd want it to be re-branded as the prem 2 & money being spent on players.
Its a competitive league but the quality at times is dreadful. Other than the fans of the teams that are in the championship nobody else really watches it.
Us v sheff weds end of the season was entertaining but there wasnt much quality. It was like watching two boxers that a bums come out swinging
If we break away they'd rebrand it. Make the second tier in england as much desirable as the top leagues in the world.
The EFL are a clown show its not good for the product if teams are docked points and under embargo's

And to think last week there were people on her that thought we'd have a midfield three of a fully fit bielik with morrison & jack wilshire
Honestly its the hope that kills you ?
