This sounds like an end of season statement, not one for October. 
Not sure I've ever seen another club release anything of the kind, think we should avoid the demands for statements.

The 11 point record doesn't bother me. Any football fan you chat to will want to talk about it and listen to stories about it.
One fan I met couldn't believe that I had a season ticket and went to every game. He said after about 10 games he would have stopped going and probably never gone back the next season either.
Its a badge of honour for me among friends who support massive clubs and have seen them play maybe once or twice in the flesh that I kept going and still do.
Worst team in history? Yeah we were. The fans showed they were anything but and we should be eternally proud of that and own it as a club and a fan base.

Just to be in or around the automatic places and looking like playoffs is pretty much a given.  That would be par for the course with this squad in my opinion.   The football doesn't have to be good, just reasonably successful.
If we're not in the playoff places by say mid November I'd change my mind and want him to go.

Showing that he is interested in being a 'student of football', that he actually wants to be a manager and decides there is beauty in football, not just athleticism.

Wait, you mean that they have been throwing huge sums of money at this for years for years to steal a competitive advantage by creating a massively uneven financial playing field and are not in fact paragons of sporting virtue who should be hailed as saviours of the game ?

We have a budget good enough for promotion from this league and a squad with lots of Warnes chosen players in it. Although (again from those minutes) "With regards to the players we signed and his style, Paul is adaptable, but he was after some of our players in the summer. His teams are running teams and he is happy with the players he has."
So Warne was signed for his experience in League 1 promotion, we are a 'big club' and he has a squad he was/is happy with, that he has added to. He also has a good budget from the Clubs owner.
Why shouldn't our expectation be high?

For me this still rankles more than any other element of the troubles endured by the club. The systematic dismantling of the academy and watching the Premier League clubs hoover up anyone they identify as having above average ability, often for absolute peanuts, only to claim that they are doing us a favour. They can all get in the f****** bin.
The worst thing is that most often, these kids are just dumped in 'cold-storage', or loaned out to smaller clubs for stupid fees. For all the dozens that the likes of Chelsea snare every year, very few ever get to play for the buying club. To me this encapsulates a deal of what is now rotten in our once beautiful game and this oversight committee, or whatever they are calling themselves, need to have this colossal imbalance high on their 'needs fixing' list. I won't be holding my breath.

After Peterbrough got their second one of their players took the ball off him and he went down holding his head. He was not touched on his head. He stayed down and got treatment for a fake injury.
 
I hate faking, but faking head contact is just trying to get a player sent off. Needs stamping out the game.
