  1. I now sit here on the floor…. feeling like Natalie imbruglia.

I can’t wait for in about 2 years when everyone pauses for a second and remembers that time many of us thought a man who worked as a shop assistant at bed, bath and beyond about 7 years ago and had extremely sexist, homophobic whatever else tweets, was going to buy the club. ???

Latest rumour I've heard is that Pearce has said there is a serious meeting tonight with a potential buyer who could even sign a deal tonight. Kirchner is out and he made it sound like it isn't Ashley.

I haven't got a clue if there is any truth in this at all, it was just a message passed on.

Omg ACTUAL ITK. Almost as rare as a dodo.

I refuse to believe any conspiracy theories. Mainly because they just don’t really exist in business.

Logically, Q didn’t talk to anyone because of exclusivity. When they pulled that, they opened comma back up. That’s just the way deals work.

However, if anyone wanted to rock up at any time with 50million or so in an escrow account, then yes, Q would have at least listened. But nobody has done that.

And now that bids can be made again, but with a floor price set, this should be straightforward. Best bid wins. That is currently CKs bid.

True but that best bid only holds now surely for an amount of days - time is running out and if the money doesn’t surface from CK by Tuesday night surely it’s switch to the next best bid? Or get nothing if you’re a creditor.

Getting pretty tiresome with the media posts about Ashley just wanting to be the clubs savior, and how he is ready to go. Bollocks.

There is an accepted offer on the table, that has been agreed to by all parties.

Yet negotiations are still open, because of the reasons reported. So all he has to do is match or (more likely) beat the current accepted offer- then he becomes the next owner of Derby County. It’s simple.

And the fact he is not just coming forward with an acceptable offer tells me he isn’t that serious about being the next owner.

Or Q won’t even talk to him to allow him to… I don’t think we will ever know the full truth no matter what happens now.

Wondering, I know the infamous Teeside dog botherer still has someone on the board but do notts? Reckon they'd have to give the seat up now they have that little certificate thing for 12 months (not bitter at all). Just thinking there cant be any more hostile than those two - this is the part where the EFL give it to the ambulance chasing car park attendant from Wycombe.

Yeah they will not be on the board as they are no longer a member.

The only thing stopping us is proof there are enough funds to complete the season.

Also you can only start 2 seasons when in admin fyi

I think it’s actually start one season. So you can go into admin after the first day of one season and start the next season in it.

The challenge for us is, we need to come out of admin to sign anyone and offer contracts. If they lets us do those things in admin it make a mockery of the rules, simple as that. We can’t compete starting next season in admin we don’t have the players, so this has to get done and sorted for the fixtures announcement you’d assume so we can then spend 4 weeks mustering a playing squad together.

  7. So do we actually know for a fact MA’s offer was too low? Or are we having to take it at face value of what Q said? Im not sure I trust anything of what they say.

Cause I just wonder if MA has actually been allowed to ever actually talk and make an official offer. I’m assuming this is the case he has made to the EFL and that is why they have now stepped in. It would make sense right? A buyer comes to them and says look I have the means to make this happen and they are ignoring me… what can you do to get me in the door?

Or is that really all too simple a narrative for this complex situation?

I've not seen any official announcement that Kirchener has failed to conclude a sale of the club? Isn't this still ongoing.

I know it's semantics but it should have read failed to conclude a sale of the club against Fridays arbitrary deadline?

I guess in reality he still has not concluded the sale to the timeline basically Q and CK promised I guess over and over to the EFL - that’s what you imagine would have been happening behind closed doors. I think they are now stepping in as they don’t trust them to actually work quickly enough to get things done. Yes we had a PB but surely it just makes sense to have been talking to other interested parties - especially after the first deadline was missed to have a back up. It doesn’t seem like they did and on Friday they made a standing start to talk to other parties.

  9. I think I prefer Appleby or Ashley after the stories about Kirchner not being able to pay his staff on time, but for the sake of the season ahead I now sort of hope this hold up with money is true and it gets cleared tomorrow and we can crack on - and that his problems with his business are exaggerated or just some weird coincidence.

It’s been said about 20 times but this really is the most important week for the future of DCFC. This time next week I think we will know who our new owner will be. (Or hopes)
