I can categorically state that has never been sung to a team that has won it.
Good luck yourselves!
In that game it was 100 per cent sang at us (I mean we won the league so long ago I’d be surprised if most ‘younger’ Leicester fans would even know.) I remember the utter look of confusion on most our fans faces.

The song, as I'd hope someone has already pointed out, is "Champions of England, you made us sing that", a song in the memory of Vichai, hence the song starting with "Vichai had a dream...".
I think in the fa cup game when we played you 4 or 5 years ago, leicester fans did sing “champions of England you’ll never sing that” in the style of ‘champions of Europe you’ll never sing that’ that other teams sing over 40 years later as if they’ve won the champions league and not played 5 games against no one to win it….
We sang back we have won it twice so it’s probably why on Saturday some fans thought that’s what was sang. Admittedly it does sound like it so can see why we responded with it.Good luck this season.

I’m guessing it’s another belter of a game given the lack of comments
We’ve played quite well imo. More like last Saturday than midweek. I think this season we may see much better performances at home then away with the size and state of our pitch compared to some of the smaller grounds. Smith looks very neat and composed on the ball - doesn’t look like a league one player. Colin’s starting to show some good hold up and touches too. Overall bar a couple of times Leicester got in and arguably should of scored once it’s been a decent game and we have held our own.

Anyone see what the original tweet was? Looks like the admin has had either an accidental or deliberate slip up, more match day announcements?
I think the original post had a typo so it wasn’t like an accidental signing post.

Little update, expect 2 announced on Saturday before Leicester game. A midfielder (McDonald?!) and an attacker (Diallo?!) hearing josh Murphy has been training today and there’s a possibility Jamal Blackman could come in, he is still training at Huddersfield however. I expect we’ll see more movement soon
Are you an actual Derby County player or are you in fact actually Mel morris’s drone? With AI capability to post on a football forum? Whatever it is I like the inside tips.

So he’s interim manager, Captain and vice captain?! What a power trip.

we should never ever turn a blind eye to red flags ever again. the guy was clearly questionable from the very start. even preston tried to warn us off him i am sure they did more behind the scenes than the statement they posted.
when somebody is hiding something it is normally with good reason, how can he and his wife still be active on twitter after all this. he has no shame.
I think in all honesty, a lot of us were blinded by our desperation for Derby County to be saved - I think if we weren’t in admin and this had just been a run of the mill takeover at a time when Mel was selling up, a lot more people would have made noises opposing it. I certainly hold my hands up and say although there were clear red flags my line of thinking was well if Q, EFL, garry cook etc etc got him to the point of contracts exchanged, that maybe he was legit but in hindsight none of this is surprising in fact what’s coming out is probably what the rational expected.

Meh we have seen these friendlies 1000 times before. We were just off it tonight and Stevenage were well up for it. Basically just Saturdays game but the other way round. Onwards.

I did state a day which I believe will be Saturday just before the Leicester game similar style to Roberts and Smith. If i was Nixon id be saying maybe this week maybe the next etc LOL
if you were Nixon you’d say ‘working all hours to get this one done. Complications could see it take to next week. Or it could be done within 3 seconds”

When did CKR get released? He is still on the website
Think that bit just hasn’t been updated. He’s out of contract and can’t see it being renewed with the signings we have made, we probably need one more striker that’s a bit different to what we have. Though nunn could be the wild card.

What’s the go for pre game drinks. Am I better getting a taxi to town or straight to the stadium. Place looked quiet 45 minutes ago.
Probably cause of only around 5k attendance and 3 hours before kick off, so it will be quiet then bud. I reckon if you get to the merlin on pride park for around 2 30 it should be lively enough given the context of the game. ?

Cashin has less than the equivalent of 15 league games experience under his belt, and is only 20, why do fans expect him to be a regular starter over someone like Chester who has bags of experience.
Because he didn’t put a foot wrong in the championship last season?
