unfortunately for you and many i don't think they will be. as this season it is the club providing the membership, this was previously outsourced to another company

Yeah I get that feeling. Hopefully they can do something for us cause I’d already paid the 30 or 40 quid for it.

I'd suggest an email to the ticket office: slo@dcfc.co.uk

Thanks - Yeah I’ve sent one - the letter says 12 months but I wouldn’t be suprised with things under admin that it meant 12 months as of the start of the season rather than when I received it and it just hadn’t been updated.

  3. Like others have said on here - I worked in one business that had a head of departments structure. But everyone knew the heads had literally no say or power, a director above them dictated all and pretty much wouldn’t listen to anyone. Now none of us can really know what went down under Mel but I think it’s clear at the centre of all our problems, Sam rush, Keoghs sacking, points deductions, admin etc is one man. If Clowes decide Pearce is good in his role that’s good enough for me. But he will need to be part of the rebuild of the club to be forgiven in the long term in most eyes.

Sensible but hopefully players won’t see this as I won’t sign he may not be here in a few weeks

He already had interim in his title and that hasn’t stopped anyone so far! ?

  5. I think it’s clear we are saying Wildsmith is our number one. With that in mind, it would be hard to convince a goalkeeper to come here on a low wage with the fact they may know they’re going to be sat on the bench as well most the season. I think that’s why it makes sense that someone from a lower league with experience like roach would come in. I’m sure he will do a job when called upon.

I get your point.. but why hasn't Fozzy signed a new deal? Why have we only got one goalie? And no right backs if Byrne doesnt stop playing truant? My guess is that the £8m wage cap is stopping us recruiting as we would like. And we might have to sell players or deal with more desertions.    It isn't really fair for us to continue to be penalised.

I actually think it may be more because of man power rather than finances per say. Liam has already said Derby lacks a recruitment team that is typically 15 people, he’s said he’s got an analyst essentially doing a ton of leg work that isn’t his role. The fact in less than two weeks following admin we have done the amount we have in the transfer market is testament to everyone.

Maybe the reason we only have one goalkeeper is because we had put a lot of work into getting rushworth but we couldn’t confirm he would be number one so he went elsewhere. So now that depleted team of people are having to do what they can to recruit further players - I assume by the end of this week another 3 or 4 will be signed up and that could well include fozzy and a goalie.

He's got interest from lots of bigger clubs. Forest and Bournemouth were sniffing about a couple weeks ago but unsure as of today

    Are you Pete shuttleworth?

Not sure if this is a slight at him or a reference to our administration position but for clarity Rosenior mentions in his interview on Rams TV that recruitment isn't really his area.

However since he is an analyst who's job is to pore over match footage and do opposition scouting he has been able to not only identify targets but also directly make contact with players and their agents to help get deals done. So he has gone above and beyond his role

Apologies if I'm missing what you're saying but I wanted to help set the record straight in case there was confusion

No slight at all… was just a comment on the fact that rosenior talked about his involvement in signings and since September 2020 we have effectively been under an embargo so he’s never been able to get involved. Why I said he’s ticking all the boxes so far with what he’s been able to do now we can sign players. Whether it’s his core responsibility or not. ??

    Yet more sensible business!

Asked this before  and no one replied-  who is negotiating these deals?

A name I’ve not heard before until tonight but rosenior and stearman mentioned a man called Pete shuttleworth I think it was and saying he’s had a big part to play in signings.

Problem with this one, Brighton want him to be guaranteed number 1 which is understandable. We want him to compete with wildsmith. Roberts looks set to be done soonish tho

We should just tell them he will be - I always tell girls mistruths before the reality and it never backfires………

Should we be worried about wages etc

No cause we have zero idea what people are on… and we have basically no squad - we will have a budget we have to work towards and we won’t be going out of it. Clowes said his main aim is to make Derby secure and safe for generations to come - he isn’t about to go back on that with a bunch of free transfers within a week.

Here's the 'released' list. It lists players under 24 and not offered deals, and players over 24 regardless of any offer on this table.

lol Am I the only idiot who read it as two separate lists for a second and was like - who the hell is Curtis eugene? And didn’t realise we had so many one name players ???
