No mate, I believe it's the loan that Mel got from Henry Gabay to buy the stadium- it was paid off a long time ago but apparently the charge over the stadium wasn't removed. However, it seems to be a tidying up of legal matters that should make it easier for a new owner to buy the stadium.

I don't really understand this story.
 
My understanding is that the 12 point deduction is an all or nothing thing. According to the rules as I understand them, If covid was the most proximate cause of the administraton then the deduction should be zero  points. If it was not then, it should be 12 points. No other ifs or  buts or mitigating factors that could reduce it in half. 
 
Unless .. we are saying .. we haven't got time to fight this through the courts or tribunals, let's do a deal now and get certainty.  
 
Also EFL asking for our books over six years.. haven't they had them already?

There’s a really good piece in The Athletic about Matthew Langton. The former academy player who killed himself earlier this year. 

I think Chris Martin was excellent when he was in under 23s, worked really hard with young players. Likewise Fozzy on his road to recovery.
Anya and Thorne ' looked ' like they'd rather be elsewhere. 
Obviously not ideal to have your high earners sitting in under 23s so this idea of an "almost"player who can stay there for the longer term is a good one.

The morning following the previous SCG meeting which took place under an NDA, I resigned from my position on the Supporters Charter Group.
I first want to apologise to all the fans that were grateful for the opportunity to voice their concerns to the club through dcfcfans.uk.
Unfortunately there were a number of issues that I was not personally comfortable with so made the difficult decision to resign.
The NDA, I raised my concerns directly to the club prior to the meeting, warning them what the reaction would be if this became public, which it did. The agreement to release a joint statement following the previous meeting. The delay in getting information from the meetings to you all in a timely manner. The abuse, not just towards myself personally but other supporters groups. It’s great to see that the new Black & White Together Supporters Group have been given permission to post information from the meeting tonight on Twitter shortly after the meeting had concluded, something we were frustratingly restricted from doing so.
An agreement was made during the second meeting where representatives could not communicate with fans until the meeting minutes were released by the club, which as you know were often delayed.
Something which I strongly disagreed with and made both the club and SCG my thoughts with my resignation.
I do want to thank the club for the opportunity, and wish the Supporters Charter Group good luck going forward.

Got to admit I had my fears when I saw his name on the teamsheet vs Reading (purely based on his performances in the cup games) but got to say he has been excellent, not put a foot wrong in 2 games, long may it continue!

One look at that bench underlines the miracles being performed with a tiny first team squad. No strikers, no centre backs. Really feel for Caishin, if it wasn’t for the EFL rules - surely he’d be involved. 

Would’ve been harsh to drop Allsop after his last game, but Roos has been great this season and should probably be back at first choice.
Perhaps the international break will be a chance for the coaches to assess the best xi based on results and performances so far.

Good game. Played well. Awful ref. Decent atmosphere. Enjoyed it. ‘Nuff said. 

Just got home and can’t wait for Saturday ( long, long time since I’ve felt this way). Great effort, great support, great spirit and atmosphere. The quality wasn’t too shabby either. Which corner of the ground shall we put the Rooney statue in?? 

Can’t remember the last time I heard “you’re going home in a Derby ambulance”. It was sung every game even as recently as 2008.

Would this mean he gets less compo?

I don't blame the young players, they are just looking out for their careers. It's the system that's wrong.
