I put £40 on us to win the league after Collins signed… ?
Odds ?

Collins may be the key to everything. We haven't had a battering ram since Stevie H and he did wonders.
The big difference between 1991/2 (and the collection of expensive kids bought on-masse) and now is experience. Most of the newbies will slip straight in. Look how the likes of Curtis, Jagielka and CKR slotted straight In previously.
Yes there are a lot more to pull together but I am expecting something great this season.

They seemed to take every player we had on trial and give them a contract, except the best one. Shame he didn't get to stay. If he had we'd still be in the championship. 4.5 k a week is a tremendous wage in everyday life but nowt for the championship nowadays. I still suspect we sold Shinnie to facilitate Jagielkas wage till the end of the season and then got shafted at the last minute, losing two players and retaining none.
Who was that???

Don't get it. Loach is back up and could become no.1

Tbf he is way above D1 but I would really want him to stay. Gut feel is keep him and turn down all bids.

Liam likes hom so expect a deal to be done. Apparently been tracking him for some time

The blue away kit from 14/15 with JustEat on, I managed to peel it off.
Great kit s*** logo.
My favourite shirt/ sponsor ever is 1984 Bass kit

That truly appalling betting sponsorship is no more than God. The shirts yesterday carried a logo which is obviously some sort of interim measure and it was a statement rather than anything to offer financial benefit.
Is there anything in the pipeline?
Fwiw if its an outside business there is no way we will carry a betting sponsorship again.

3 wingers was enough the year we got to Wembley (Dawkins, JR, Wardy) so imo if we keep Knight we are fine as there is always a youngster who could step up (Richards maybe). If Knight goes (v likely) there are bound to be some great options at bargain prices.
I'm assuming CKR will be staying. If that's the case we should go as we are and if an opportunity to pick up another striker then all well and good.
Not sure what the reserve options for GK are but I thought one of the young lads is a hot prospect??
Fozzy at this level will be solid. He stays LB is sorted. Again bound to be backup somewhere in the squad.
RB is the concern.......
Shopping list as things stand:
Defo RB
Maybe winger & a striker
Re-sign Fozz

Send him out on loan option to buy. Preferably we get promoted, he comes back.

Barkhuizen I’ve always had done as a one dimensional player, sticks really wide to the touch line and gets his head down. He’s very quick, grafts.. again, a player who will never be faulted for his commitment.
Bit like that Leicester winger who won them the Prem
