  1. I'm not even going to think beyond him signing on the dotted line.

These past 2 years have been horrendous so even though today is good news, until such times as we know for sure the accounts haven't scared the poo out of him , I won't be looking at the possibilities.

Let's just leave it that he is an unknown and an unknown is exactly that. He could be horrendous or he could be a saviour. After the final MM years we can't be picky

  2. Someone made a v good point yesterday that would put things to bed in an instant.

If admin came out and said clearly that no bidders will commit until they know for certain which division the club are in would settle things.

Tbf that is my take but the biggest concern is to lose all the talent for nothing.  could agree a deal with prospective owners that they will purchase at 1 of 2 rates depending on division next season.

Doesn't take a genius to put this in place.

I'm no fan of MM but I struggle to see how people apportion 100% of the blame to him.

In terms of our points haul, I have him at 12/21ths to blame, with the EFL at 9/21ths, based on the fact that these points were deducted on rules which were retrospectively invented.

Factor in the other things, such as transfer embargoes and inability to extend contracts and then I think the pendulum of blame firmly swings the way of the EFL.

The fact they have changed the P&S rules mid season to help teams out goes to highlight the fact that they have been hellbent on relegating us.

Whether their ultimate intention was to drive us out of business only they will know.

He was playing fantasy football. As a responsible owner it was his responsibility to ensure the books balanced. Any jack-ass can splash the cash but someone who has their head screwed on knows when to reign things in.

To conclude Mel is 100% to blame

    That's that then.

Reading 8 points clear with a game in hand.

Well done everyone - Rooney, the players and staff. Gallant attempt. We're very proud of all your efforts.

    Duck the EFL. COYR ?

duck Mel  he is 100000000% to blame

  5. I'm relieved. They were great today but they kept us clinging to blind hope by getting a point. Reading have now dashed that.

The deal now needs to be done in every liklihood that they will be non-championship

As I have said before and was lambasted for, Q have acted entirely amateurish and it has all the hallmarks that Mel Morris still has his dirty little fingers involved in this particular pie.

People have buried their heads in the sand in hope and blind faith, and I understand why.  But from not cutting costs earlier, to not acknowledging issues and thinking they would just go away, to absolutely disgraceful levels of communication, led by either ignorance arrogance or maybe both.

    My thoughts entirely. Well put
