Knowing what sort of character Collins is, he'll be back asap
-
If that is the case then Collins is defo out

Got to admit that we are besieged with bad luck up top.
We cant even get young laddo back from his loan.
Expect a front 3 on Saturday to be
NML
Tom B
Probably Somny up top

The point I was making was that under Liam he wanted to play football for the sake of it and at all costs.
Exeter looked the same last night.
I'm all for pragmatism and last night was the epitome of that. I really enjoyed the fact we defended resolutely and then looked to get in behind their fullbacks.
Away from home we are perfectly set up as the onus is always on the home team to press.
Home is where the problem is. Maybe win all the away matches and draw all the hone matches???

Uninspiring 0-0

Exeter were easy on the eye and that was about it. Possession for possessions sake is pointless.
I'll never forget when we played Shrew away last season, and had about 80% of possession. Cash made the most passes during the match in the history of forever.
We were absolutely toothless upfront that night.
Unfortunatelly we have players who are perfect for a counter and that is why our away form is so good. When it comes to dominating at home we have seldom been able. A very difficult quandary to overcome as home fans would rightly be pissed if we sit back and let the opposition dictate.
Last night was solid beef and very pragmatic. Worked a treat

Forget the score, the performance was excellent.

2-1 Rams
Frgs Nelson

Wasn't there so can't comment but from the face if it, the match sounded dire and we failed to kill off a bang average side.
We really need to turn in a good dominating performance, something we've not seen since Oxford.
Tactically though we are questionable.
In terms of a positive it can only be that we have a rock in the middle who is key to the outcome in May. Hopefully we can get CBT moving
-
I'm pint half full but you can't skate around the abysmal performances this season.
We were excellent against Oxford, v good vs Wigan. Everything since has been meh.
I really felt positive going into today but the fact we played 5-3-2 at home against a bottom 6 team is unforgivable.
Nyambe, Sonny and Nelson were a back 3 with no-one to break the lines.
Yes, we are 2nd. I have no idea how. I haven't seen football this bad since little Billy. Yes, it's winning but boy is it boring.

7 from 9. Hopefully 3 on Tuesday but next Saturday will be a battle.
Expect it to be the worst game of football you have ever witnessed

Switch ?
I'd assumed 4-3-3

Not there today. Doesn't sound great.
If we have personnel I would switch to 3-5-2
-
Last 16 12-2-2. Immense
Adams could be key to top 2.

1-1 but hoping 3-0

As per normal a good proption of Rams fans have made themselves look total spanners.
They have no idea what goes on behind doors and instead go all keyboard warrior.
His interview was extremely enlightening and Inormative. Proves without question that the budget we have is small and we are maxed out.
I so want us challenging and promoted but not at the same of affecting our long term stability.
We have signed 2 class signings who add a good deal of improvement to the team (not just squad). Get a striker back and we are cooking.
We now (all) need to back the lads to the hilt.

Big blow not getting a back up.striker in.

Knowing how Derby fans are, they will boo him for the rest of the season.
I really do find it so depressing that players leave to join these Mickey Mouse outfits. Granted Bristol are tier 2, but they have and never will be anything other than cannon fodder

I can see a player in there.

Not going to happen so focus on something else.
Football is worse since B Davies and we somehow come up with another win.
As soon as I saw the teamsheet today I knew we were in trouble. We need something in the middle and Tommo brings that in abundance.
I won't single out players as many were woeful but I will give a shout out to Sonny. I watched him v closely and he brought control to the team when he came on. I think he has lost some of his aerial ability but that wasn't needed towards the end.
We have been bitten hard by injuries, and that's what happens when you shop at bargain basement and pick up 30+ and injury prone.
Fwiw I feel we will be top 6 at best and may or may not go up. It will require another transfer window with the handbrake off to get the team in good health.
Do I like the style of play? Hell no
Would i make a change if I were in charge? Probably not
Will Warme get us up? Not sure
What tactical change would I make? Legs in the middle as the tactics are clearly to bypass the middle
I feel for CBT. If I were him I would have lost my s***. It was almost as if the tactic was to ignore him. Sibley (MOTM.....) opted to ignore him and try and beat 10 players on his own each time.

They were a decent, well drilled outfit and you can see why they are up there.
I thought we battled hard and tried to get the ball on the ground.
We obviously were lacking a focal so it was always going to be difficult.
Bradley was absolutely Head and shoulders MOTM. That one bit of skill second half was worth the admission price alone.
Hats off to the management team for making the necessary tweaks as they worked.
The atmosphere second half was the best since relegation. Everyone knew the team were up against it and came together as one.
