  1. Before everyone on here has a total meltdown, the small print in the statement clearly reads 'the job is yours but things had better improve and soon'.

This means results and performances must improve to retain 'our' backing.

I applaud the club stance to back their manager. He knows his head is on the block. Let's see if the players put in the effort to keep him in the post.

Fwiw I don't think he'll be here after 18/11 as i simply can't see things turning around.

I do hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the players are looking towards the next incumbent who should be able to offer a better football philosophy.

But we made a change to Warne and haven’t seen an immediate improvement and everyone is calling for his head? What makes you so convinced Warne can’t be the man for the long term?

I dunno, it just seems a shame to me to change so quickly when I highly doubt a managerial change will make any difference (we may start to win games but i think we will under Warne anyway)

Nah mate. He's lost the dressing room and the fan base.

Don't expect the players to bust a gut.

A decent, open and honest guy but dcfc us too big for him

  3. I'm not v well at the moment. If they were worth watching, I would make the effort.

I'm not going tomorrow. Say no more........

Just to make mention that whilst Warne remains in charge, things won't improve. I've seen absolutely no signs that he can turn things around and he clearlynis out of his depth.

Not sure what the results of the 20 matches are but if that had been replicated from the start of the season, we would be swimming with the fishes

Next Rams manager for me needs to be a young ambitious manager who likes the ball to be kept on the ground. Capt Hindsight is a great thing isn't it?

  4. I've read a few threads on X from Rotherham fans and the parallells between them and us when W has been in charge are alarming.

    One such post reads:

#dcfcfans #dcfc how’s warne doing lads? 3 at back? Long ball? Miss out the central midfielders every game by banging it over there heads? Loads of injuries in training? Same subs every week? No plan B? Just wondering from a miller?

    ************************************

My best guess is that if things improve by end of October he will be given the elbow.

I would fully respect DC to go for someone who plays football the right way

Second best all first half, grew into it nearer the end and got a penalty after the ball was in the net, and after another stonewall penalty. Then they get a penalty, looked on the edge of the box but could’ve been inside. Second half starts, Bradley (who was playing really well) drops (another) clanger leading to Wildsmith to get desperate and get sent off (rightly or wrongly) but the referee took a good 40 seconds to make a decision and the linesman didn’t flag it. Then we’re away to Bolton who will be top 2 with 10 men. We defended really well, Nelson in particular but then they get a fluke own goal that loops in. We get pegged back and have a few chances near the end. Wasn’t a great watch but no where near worth the meltdown in my opinion

Thanks. I'm Devon so no idea also

Yep, that’s fair, I’m not disputing that. I simply feel this game is more of an anomaly than others have been this season.
We’ve lost 2-1 on the road to one of the better sides in the league, having played a chunk of the game with 10 men, the goals coming from two penalties and a deflected cross. If they were as good as we’re supposed to be poor it would have been 7-1. Got to dust ourselves down and go again.

Of those more vocal in their concerns about Warne, are any attending the fans forum? Perhaps someone could articulate it in a constructive way in that space how some of the fans feel about the style of football being served up, might be the opportunity some people want to share their views in the correct way 🤷🏻‍♂️

    When is the fans forum?

I’m all for critical comments, but aren’t we playing away against a probable top six side with 10 men?

To support this argument the side was disrupted by the Cashin deal and then lose Rooney after 10 minutes.

Some of the players will have been affected if it was a bad one
