He had to show £100m to get in the door with Quantuma 
He had to show £60m to the EFL and go through the owners and directors test, they’ve beefed this up since Birch came on board, hence why the EFL blocked Erik Alonso.
He made an offer, Q thought they could do better so he pulled out. Looked at Preston and didn’t think they had the same potential so when Q came back to him he decided to proceed and has pretty quickly got himself to a position where the deal is close. The guy is absolutely not a tyre kicker.

The ones that are in the right in all of this is Derby county its fans and i hate to say it but gibson is right . 
The ones that are wrong is the efl and mel morris and its they that should be punished . The efl for allowing the accounts and this dragging on so not being punished in the correct year . Mel morris how does he get to walk away from this and let a new owner or dcfc pick up the tab for his failings or they go bust . Its just incredible morriss is looking more like a dodgy car dealer than an extremely wealthy clever man .

This really seems to be dragging on. Still got a feeling that Ashley is waiting for us to be buried alive before swooping in but I’d say the bag of top soil has just been opened. So any time when you’re ready Mike.
The most ironic thing about this season is that it’s been quite enjoyable on the pitch/match days and yet off it we’re hurtling towards a black hole.

If administration is just around the corner how long can we keep on paying the players wages for  ?

You need proper owners in football to succeed. It starts at the top if you are owned by clowns you end up being a circus. Leeds for example had a succession of joker owners and ended  up as a laughing stock for 16 or so years. A succession of small clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford have succeeded recently due to good leadership. If you get professional leadership who are invested in progressing a football club and the football club is their main focus and not personal agendas and ego trips that club will prosper. Match good leadership with a big club and  Derby are that and there is only one direction you go and that is up.
