According to the Vale forum some of their fans who couldn’t get a ticket thought it would be a good idea to get an ID number and purchase tickets within the home supporters sections.
There are now screenshots of text messages from DCFC saying that after consolation with members lists held by Port Vale that the tickets are now void and no refund will be offered.
Clubs shouldn’t be sharing data, illegal to offer no refund, football ombudsman needs to be involved…….the usual I’ll informed drivel from those that have been rumbled.
The moral of this story…………read the Terms & Conditions from both clubs before trying to pull the same stunt!

From DCFC email.
Derby County Silent Auction link
There are three Pre-Season Shirts up for grabs featuring the One Club, One City, We Are Derby logo and subsequently signed by the first team squad. The Club are giving fans the chance to place a silent bid for the opportunity to get their hands of one of these limited edition shirts.
From DCFC email
Fans will also have the chance to win one of the shirts through a series of matchday giveaways, subscriber promotions and through a text donation platform set up by Derby County Community Trust throughout October.
As part of the ‘One Club’ philosophy, all proceeds from the sales will be donated to Derby County Community Trust, who are planning projects to counteract the growing cost of living this winter.……
Sounds like three up for grads in the auction…………………but then again. ?

Seems the three front runners to replace Wilder are the bloke sacked a week ago by Watford (Edwards), the bloke sacked six weeks ago by Stoke (O’Neill) and the bloke sacked five weeks ago by Bournemouth (Parker).
The consensus on the Boro forum is to appoint an interim coach and wait for Marinakis to sack Cooper.
on ya marks, get set and they’re off!?

Taken from a Rosenior interview with Henry Winter of The Times. July 2022.
“We had staff members refreshing Twitter revery two minutes trying to get the latest news on the club which is an unhealthy unsustainable way of living,” he recalls. Staff were so fearful. One long-standing member of staff came up to Rosenior and Rooney one day and asked, “I’ve never wanted to leave this club but do you think there will be any jobs at (nearby) St George’s Park.” Rosenior says, “It was heart-breaking. They were in tears. They love this club.
Cheers pal, your contribution to the survival of our great club will not be forgotten.….….
……………good luck and all the best for the future.

To be honest I still blame the EFL for what happened to Derby .
Stephen Pearce is ok with me
Statement of affairs from Companies House.
The club owed £26million to HMRC, £20million to MSD Holdings, £15million to football and trade creditors of which £8.3 million was for players registrations and over £500,000 agents fees!
And you still blame the EFL for what happened at Derby County…….ye gods man!

Not much animosity on the Rotherham forum for either Warne or Derby.
Sensible stuff, bigger club, bigger ambition, bigger car park, bigger wage packet.
They’ve got 15 pages of new manager suggestions, if I was them I’d wait a few weeks and appoint Steve Cooper! ?

4 year deal. This is Clowes man got to back him.
Warne was appointed manager of Rotherham on the 28th of November 2016.
2016/17 season ………..24th relegated.
2017/18 season, finished fourth 19 points behind Wigan, beat Shrewsbury in the playoffs……promoted.
2018/19 season…………22nd relegated.
2019/ 20 season……….the infamous points per game season when Wycombe finished eighth with points won but the computer said they’d made the playoffs which they won, the same computer put Rotherham second……..promoted.
2020/21 season………23rd relegated.
2021/22 season……..2nd behind Wigan promoted.
Relegated, promoted, relegated, promoted, relegated, promoted.
……perhaps a twelve month rolling contract would have made more sense ?

Seems like Warne is bringing Assistant Manager Richie Barker, Goalkeeping Coach Andy Warrington and First Team Coach & Head of Academy Coaching Matthew Hamshaw.
Cant see LR fitting in anywhere …………others may be on the way out as well.

Not a fan of this decision. It absolutely stinks of short term thinking which I thought we'd all had enough of under Mel. In the long term Warne has not shown he can do an adequate job in the second division which is where we want to be. As a result of this we're ripping up the playbook 11 games in and giving the reigns to a bloke who's style of football is antithetical to the one we've been playing? I just can't make it make sense. I agree Rosenior could have done better, I've felt at times quite critical of our tactics and performances even when we've won games but this is a damn stupid appointment.
Post of the day……….and it’s only just gone 11.

We’ve signed three keepers.
Six players, Collins, Smith, McGoldrick, Mendez-Laing, Hourihane and Chester, anyone of which would probably get into any other team in this league.
We’ve managed to keep Knight, Bird, Cashin, Sibley, Davies, Thompson, Stearman and Forsyth.
We’ve signed youngsters Oduroh, Rooney plus Dobbin, Osula and Roberts on loan and Tom Barkhuizen on a two year deal.
Considering that just a few weeks back we were on the verge of handing the club to Kirchner, had five players under contract and no pre season preparations the performances so far are to quote a well known ex manager of this famous football club “nothing short of remarkable”.
…………….it’s a 10 from me!

I refer you sir to ticket rule 21.2.2………..?
21.2.2 the admission prices to be charged to supporters of a Visiting Club shall not be higher than those charged to the supporters of the Home Club for comparable accommodation and in particular concessionary rates offered to senior citizens and junior supporters shall apply equally to both sets of supporters;
….I reckon they’ll be reasonably priced, I don’t think the locals would be impressed with excessive ticket pricing.
