  1. I do enjoy going through everyone’s opinion on these formation/tactic threads…isn’t it great to be talking about football again

4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 5-3-2, wing backs, defensive central midfielders, dual strikers, floating number 10s, false number 9s press, possession, short ball, long ball, league 1 hoofball and so on and so on.

Anyway, personally I usually follow this blokes opinion…when it comes to football and winning things he was usually spot on.

Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes"

I'll sue if you don't destroy Derby

The Rams said no, I don't think so,

We are the South Stand, Derby.

Have you heard of the North Bank ….Highbury

Shanks said no, I don’t think so

I saw some derby fans saying only avabile on there website.

With new signings I think it could be a sell out.

Looks like you’re spot on pal! ?

    Extra 600 tickets
Bradford ticket allocation increased from 1,167 to 1,767

    Pinched from DCFC site.

Derby County supporters can purchase on the day of the game at Bradford, with tickets available from 9am. Supporters would need to scan the Away QR code near the away turnstiles to purchase tickets. There is no cash option to buy tickets.

…………………sunny day out in Bradford anyone?

Reports from some countries that Russian citizens are being abused and harrassed in the street, similar reports coming in from around the world.

    I agree, interesting times.

I can assure you that I and hopefully millions of Ukrainians  who are being being terrorised, bombed, traumatised, separated from their families and are prepared to stand in front of Russian tanks to save their country from a madman whilst they’re burying their dead would hardly call these “interesting times”!

    What an absolute crass remark!

Just seen that there are calls for Abramovich to be sanctioned - problem is that the Chelsea owes him an unfathomable £2b - which he would call in if sanctioned (ie put the club into administration)

If that happened - our problems would look minor in comparison (and we would think ourselves lucky that MM doesn't want his loans back)!

Could be light at the end of the tunnel here.  Bournemouth have a Russian owner comrade Maxim Victorovich Demin.

Apparently he’s got a £5 million mansion at Sandbanks Dorset……..that place rings a bell. ?

  6. Some confusion here!…….pinched from elsewhere.

Generally speaking, lower class people from the north of England will say “breakfast dinner and tea” and upper class people from the south will say “breakfast lunch and dinner“.

    To avoid embarrassment.

There is a way to avoid causing offence and to avoid showing ignorance.

When you accept the invitation, ask what time you should arrive.

That way, you’re showing consideration for the host and avoiding a problem at the same time.

    Lunch 12-1.30

    ……………………….another hour yet! ??

Silly question but where does all the certified information come from regards how much a player is earning?

  10. Lots of Posh fans round here.  Ferguson match preview from the local paper.

“We will have to manage the early part of the game,” Ferguson said. “We will need to stand up to 28,000 home fans contesting every decision, but these are the games, with big crowds in an excellent stadium, that make us want to play at this level.”

“Jack Marriott will be involved. He had a dip after coming back strongly from his injury. He has nothing to prove to Derby though.”

Yep…………………………I’ll give him a respectful round of applause. ??

  11. Boulton, Webster, Todd, McFarland, Nish, Gemmil, Newton, Mackay, Rioch, Hinton, O’Hare, Lee, George and Kevin Hector.

Edit………..forgot Durban, Robson, Hennessey and McGovern! ??

    Bottle thrown from stand

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Referee Josh Smith has just had a word with both sides, after Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba appeared to be struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.

Ben Brereton Diaz is trying to play peacemaker, Samba is livid, Joe Worrall is trying to calm things too.

………………………..this bottle throwing mullarkey is getting silly now!

  13. Being a sort of local I do like to keep me one good eye on the Posh (Peterborough) fans forum.

Some bloke is trying to organise a bus to the upcoming Rams match, seems his first selling point was a trip to the Brunnie, anyway here’s that conversation.

    Poster 1

I know, the Brunswick is home fans only now but I'm sure we'd have sorted somewhere.

    Poster 2

Wtf?  That's the single best football pub in the country.

    Or it was, anyway.

The conversation continues as to the pre match entertainment.

    Poster 3

My preference us for straight into Derby but will back whatever you decide upon.

Even if it is Uttoxeter and the risk of the coach axles ending up on bricks and the wheels going off on the back of a battered Hilux alongside a corner shop cash machine and a couple of lurchers.

    Incoming in………………5…….4……..3…….2…….I???

I’ve included the link in case a right of reply is demanded!?
