  1. Moral Maze time.
My lad asked me this yesterday after the Boxing Day bubble n’ squeak fry up lunch.

who would you rather sit next to today?

    a) someone not fully vaccinated but has tested negative within the last 48 hours.

    b) someone(me) who has a COVID pass letter dated July 2021

    c) sit on your own in the North Stand

  2. Pinched from today’s Times.

However, there will be no FA Cup replays this season, in an effort to ease the fixture congestion.

The FA’s agreement to suspend replays will help with rescheduling the matches that have been postponed during the past fortnight. “Replays will return up to and including the fourth round of the FA Cup from the 2022-23 season,” an FA spokesman said.

6 clean sheets, 6 shoot out wins, cups ours,  jobs a good un!?

……depressing memories of that 2008 chant of “let’s pretend we’ve scored a goal” keep coming back!?

  4. Are we able to sign players again in January within the permitted player / Business Plan restrictions?

We are able to sign players within the restrictions, but we cannot pay transfer or loan fees this season.

Does this mean it’s free agents only?…………………that gene pool looks rather thin!

I think the admin team need to find a buyer quick if they are not to be added to the list of contributors.

Spot on PP………..to sum up last nights financial administration for dummies episode (I include myself in this group) it seems £60 million will be needed to buy a third tier club who don’t own their own ground.

On the day we were informed of the nine point deduction not a word for the fans from the administrators.  Apparently Radio Derby are interviewing them on Friday……………………..now’s the time to earn your money lads.

Even more if someone else pumps up the cash to bring him in and reunite him with Le Tissier, Nicholas and Thompson. Might take a few viewers and sponsors

Stelling is staying at Sky till the end of the season, just about the time that Murdoch rolls out his new Talk TV channel with Piers Morgan.  My money is on the dumped Sky crowd going back to work for their old boss.

Can I just say about Stelling that he’s raised millions for Prostate Cancer UK with his charity walks, top bloke. ?

Tepper is a different animal and is quite honestly a dream owner. He bought the Carolina Panthers in 2018 for $2.3bn and soon after invested even more into sports in Charlotte by expansion in the MLS - a whim that still cost him north of €300m and something that he won't make money back on for a long time, perhaps ever. It's an investment in the growth of the MLS.

He's at the point in his life where he's become a sporting philanthropist - a genuine figure head for the growth of Carolina sports in the States (perhaps the world) and football in America. He could quite comfortably purchase almost any Premier League club and he's shown a desire to be aggressive in his approaches to grow his brand.

Tepper wouldn't be a hands-on owner, but he would pay top dollar to high-end executives who he believed could and there wouldn't be a shortage of people looking to work for him. It would quite honestly be a dream scenario and for that reason I absolutely can't believe that it's even remotely an option.

Kirchner, who has now put himself in the spotlight, is coming off well. As Jordan said, who knows much more about researching business growth than me, the company he has now is ascending to the point where he potentially could be a billionaire in the future. I would guess not know, but it's showing incredible growth in a short amount of time. He seems set up for a long-term investment and has shown the required funds as of now, so perhaps it has the potential to be a good match. He sounds like an intelligent man, something our boardroom has sadly lacked for too many years.

Post of the day, well said…………………….I’ve posted you a pint.?

I can’t find anything remotely suggesting this guy is close to being a billionaire.

sorry but my bull**** radar is pinging all over the place here, somethings not right with this.

You’re probably right, but there’s nowt on the telly……….fills a couple of hours on a Monday night.?

How the ticket sales have gone I would estimate that tickets for members will go on sale next Wednesday/ Thursday and general sale Sunday/Monday with a three to four day window to buy. cat A match so tickets will be £30 adults £25 concessions . Home fans can pay cash at certain turnstiles on the day but I don’t know if this is available to away fans.

For Coventrys recent home game v Fulham they had two cash turnstiles for away supporters to pay on the day in the South Stand

…that’s their South Stand not the one at Pride Park!?

  11. Pinched from the ramstrust statement.

Attendances haven’t increased dramatically despite a rally call from the management, squad and various supporter groups. Is there any initiative here to boost attendances, money is important but so are results and a packed Pride Park brings a 12th man?

The issue here is that higher attendances cost the club more in running costs (stewarding etc.), so this would actually have a negative effect on club finances if they give away free tickets.

    Who mentioned free tickets?
Just the availability to collect tickets a couple of hours before kick off would be a start!

Sometimes you just have to shake your head in disbelief at the situation regards ticketing…..cash flow lads, cash flow!

Sorry, this has probably already been answered but I’m trying to get a ticket to go with my 4 year old. I have a Fan ID but obviously she doesn’t have an e-mail. Can I create a linked Fan ID without an e-mail? Or if not, does anybody know if the ticket office Twitter/phone lines are manned today? Or is the office open to just buy a ticket?

    PRE-MATCH FANS INFORMATION: SWANSEA CITY

Ticket sales end at 1pm on the day of the game online on dcfc.co.uk.

The Ticket Office counters and phone lines are closed on matchday but the email helpdesk, Ticket.Office@dcfc.co.uk is open between 9am-3pm.

send em an email, my guess is you have to set up an email address then click the friends and family thingy.

Good luck……….seems everything regards buying tickets finishes at 1pm

I wonder if there’s any other championship club where it’s impossible to get a ticket 2 hours before kick off on match day?

……..and there’s me thinking it’s all about cash flow!

The campaign hasn't really worked then?

Any campaign that asks supporters to put some extra cash into the club (wether tickets, Rams tv, merchandise, match parking, or just an extra cup of Bovril) is in my opinion a worthy cause and has worked to increase the profile of the next two important home games……..well done Sage.?

Out of interest…………..what stand you sitting in Patrick Rams?

In an age of convenience, it’s a shame that Derby make it hard to buy a casual ticket

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy July 2021.

We will however continue to provide cash turnstiles on matchdays, as we know that this is a convenient ticket purchasing method for fans and works as a Club in us providing a quick and easy way to buy on a matchday.

Surprising what you can do with the right Chief Executive!
