Correct, I had no symptoms whatsoever, full flow, no discomfort. I was more than apprehensive when the nurse explained the biopsy procedure, but it was uncomfortable, but never painful.
Yes, I agree the doctors and nurses are amazing.
Pride Pharmacy in the hospital however, queued for two hours, 16 people in front of me, the pharmacist confirmed they had my medication, I was told to take a seat, and was called an hour later! Good job we traveled by bus otherwise my parking charges would have been substantial.

I had no symptoms, had a blood test for something else, visit to hospital, had a marvellous dedicated nurse, “ we can beat this Mr R”, biopsy, brachytherapy which are radioactive beads the size of a grain of rice injected into ……………..anyway, was treated on a Monday morning out Tuesday morning, loads of hospital support, six monthly blood tests and Nurse Rached reckons I’ve beat the bugger!

Good luck DGB………………..to everyone else, get tested, when diagnosed early completely treatable.

Like yourself i had a look but all i could see was talk about past Wrexham games, for a minute i thought we had been swallowed up by the welsh, (nightmare) phew.

Just had a look, 8 pages on the Derby thread, nothing about the game!

8 pages of, can I sit where I want, can I stand where I want, allocated seats, fireworks, flares, drums, turning up late, blocking the aisles, fireworks again, police dogs, will I be able to see anything, sit down, stand up, Derbys a sh***ole I want to go home, stand up, sit down, you’re in my seat pal.

just a wild guess ………………but, I reckon it’s a big day out for them!

  4. The Times have a rather good article written by Cheif Sports Writer Martyn’s Ziegler that goes through a list of what was in Tracey Crouch’s fan led review and what has been dropped from the White paper.

no action on rule breaches around Financial Fair Play,

    nothing on parachute payments

nothing on illegal approaches for players

nothing on breaches of gambling rules.

no limits on wages or transfer spending.

Agents will not be regulated by new body

No transfer levy to support the pyramid and grassroots football

    no “shadow board”

………bit more tv money from the premier league pot, but it seems business as usual up at the EFL.

Prims used to train and play at the Ramarena, if they left the boiler room open we would nip in and “borrow” the training kit I’d always try and get bobby Davison,s kit. I’d struggle to get in John Robertson’s kit now

……..should of got there earlier! ?

When the Reserve team didn't have a fixture on a Saturday, it wasn't unusual to see players from the first-team squad playing in the morning for the A team in the Midlands Intermediate League at Sinfin Lane and later at Raynesway - especially if they were seeking match fitness following an injury.

When Clough made Trevor Francis the first £1m British player, to keep his feet firmly on the ground, he gave him his debut in the Forest A team against Notts County in front of about 40 spectators at Nottingham University.

The game has changed but it was good as a boy to see big stars turning out against the Rams Reserves at the BBG.

During my Northcliffe United days Derby & Forest both had teams in the Midland Sunday League for a year in the early 80s mainly to have a look at young trialists.

Gave Forest a bit of a drubbing at their place, they turned up at King George V later in the season with a forward line of Steve Wigley, Peter Davenport & Paul Raynor.

Anyway, to cut a long story short……………4-2 home win.?

I was at the game where we had 10k + think it might have been Liverpool back in the 70s, The year we won the Central League.

I had 2 older school friends who played for the reserves, Andy Rowland from Chadd and was at Olive Eden school and scored the winner for Swindon against Arsenal 3-2 FA cup, Ray Lewis again from Chadd and Olive Eden only 1 maybe 2 games but he  did get to play against some of Man Untds big names...I think we lost 2-1 not to sure.

There was a few local lads that played one game for Derby Reserves.  ??

We’re still here! My boss (I work there) got a phone call yesterday asking if we were still open. Despite nonsense rumours we will as usual be open from 11.30 am, and on match days we only let in ‘away’ fans to our pub! Plenty of lagers, pool, plus entertainment before the game with stunning exotic dancers from 12.30. The White Horse is on the main A40 West Wycombe Road , some parking, more nearby – about 25 minutes from the ground at a brisk walk – or we’ll call you a cab. No admission charge but no under 18’s!

….”exotic dancers from 12.30”, not sure the old tickers up to a couple of hours in this place!

  9. A few early comments pinched from the QPR forum.

This is a disgusting turd of a signing.

Definitely reached the 'all you can do is laugh' stage.

Also, if Chris Martin looks energetic or mobile for us it will be a damning reflection on everyone else in the squad.

I have no life and was looking at the free agents list on transfrmkt to make some suggestions on here. I saw his name and thought 'Even we aren't that desperate' turns out we are!

    ……….and my favourite

Chris Martin ?.. Make love to my discarded footware. That’s it for me. Good night Vienna. Last one out, pull the chain. I can’t take any more of this shyte. I’m doing weeding the garden from now on. FMOB on a bike.

    ???

  10. I can’t believe some of the stuff on here lately!

Whats kept this club going over the last eighteen months has been the relationship between the supporters the different management teams and the encouragement towards players, the all in this together, never give up, fight to the end attitude that has served us well.

Unfortunately it seems that losing to a Premier League club who had 200 million quids worth of talent sat on the bench seems to have resurrected that rarest of beasts over the last few months………….the scapegoat.

Considering that just six months back we were on the verge of handing the club to Kirchner, had five players under contract and no pre season the results and performances so far are remarkable.

Personally I will not be criticising the present management, previous managers or any player  who’s working their socks off to improve our position and decided to stay or sign for this club in extraordinary times.

    Nowt on Gills official site

    Pinched from Bristol Live.

Bristol City confirm exits of former Derby County striker and ex-Norwich City defender.

Bristol City have released veteran duo Chris Martin and Timm Klose, six months before their contracts were due to expire at Ashton Gate with the former signing for Gillingham in League Two.

    …………………definitely released, free agent!?

  12. January Window.

We’ve managed to keep hold of our young talent in Knight, Bird, Sibley & Cashin.

Dobbin & Roberts, no recall, looks like they’re hopefully here till the end of the season.

Springett from Norwich & the goalie from FGR added to the squad before deadline day.

The latest loan, this lad from Spurs who seems to be able to play anywhere full back, wing half, inside left, inside right, outside left and outside right!?

…………taking into consideration our financial situation it’s been a blooming good window.

Have you got statistics on this !

    Pinched from the Telegraph.

The "statement of affairs" report from Derby County's administrators has landed at Companies House.

The document includes details of the club's assets and liabilities which are available for public view.

It shows that more than £26m is owed to HMRC and £20m to MSD Holdings.

In addition, a combination of football and trade creditors are owed around £15m.

On the list of creditors, Derby owe £8.37m in outstanding player registration fees and £504,000 in agents' commission.

Other groups owed cash include Derby City and Erewash Borough Council, St John's Ambulance, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Middlesbrough FC and the Football League

………the full list is out there if you want to have a look.

Much rather we go for someone like Kenneth Zahore. Not wanted by West Brom, know Mendez-Laing well, and 28 years old. If we can get him to rekindle his Cardiff form then we could be into a winner!

47 pages on the Zohore thread in the Albion forum…….big wages, happy to do nowt and collect his weekly wage, £8m fee played, 19 games in four seasons three goals.

Sort of sums up the fans love for Zohore.

One of if not the worst piece of transfer business our club has ever done and is one of many contributing factors to where we are today. Im amazed any club anywhere on this planet is remotley interested in picking him up even on a free. I wouldnt trust him to be a general member of club staff picking up minimum wage let alone a multi millionaire footballer. Terrible player good riddance.

    …………………….not for me thanks. ?

We might then, finally have the concourse heating turned back on in winter!

Could be costly, currently they’re gas fired radiant tube heaters.

Fuel of the devil……………..according to Dale Vince!

  17. I do like having a quick gander on opposition forums after the games and after about five months perusing these forums I think I’ve found someone who seems to know what they’re talking about!

Pinched just now from the Bolton forum.

Farrelli……………Indeed. We are still re-building and it might take another season on our budget.

Whitesince63…………….That’s just an excuse. Derby are rebuilding from just one year and like we were they are under embargo and can’t buy players, they’re also under wage restraints so we could compete with them if we’d wanted to. The difference is they have a manager who’s sole intention is to sign players of experience who can get him promotion whilst we have a manager who is obsessed with signing kids for his moneyball belief and will exclude players who don’t share his view. I can’t help feeling that IE needs to be more flexible with his system……………….Would I swop Evatt for a Warne type, you bet I would.

    Seems fair comment to me.?
