Have we treated people like cattle. ?  We've spent years paying players a wage far above their ability level while they're sat on there arse getting splinters for 48 months.  Then the academy at an annual 6 million cost, has had two years of being used like a training centre for unruly race horses who need to be improved, before they head of to the delights of Udinese, Hull and Belgium for nowt.

Personally, as someone who knows nothing about the mechanics of the business or his role personally then i don't hold any weight behind my opinion on this really. However, I find it disgraceful that he's still around and i think it's pretty shameless on his part that he feels like he should still continue in his role.
I can't envisage a scenario outside of either knew what Mel was doing and the situation (in which case he's implicated in almost destroying the club) or he didn't know in which case he's a complete incompetent. His media appearances around that time trying to reassure the fan base when we were clearly on the verge of collapse are in perspective absolutely mind boggling. 
But as I said I don't know what went on or anything else. Hopefully, one day they'll be an expose on the entire sorry mess. But Pearce by virtue of his position  played a massive part in almost destroying a 138 year old institution. 
On Quantuma does anyone really trust their judgement after the multiple preferred bidders, some of which look like they're facing criminal charges and others simply having no money at all. They were bailed out by Clowes as much as we were

I wonder if anything is connected?  Surely not, but Palace and Hull are taking their time in getting the deal done.
We ought to be on to the EFL complaining that Palace are making a loan fee on a player who they’ve not paid for yet?

The guy is hardly what you'd call a drummer. Thump, thump thump does not a tune make. Bloody awful imho, but I'm only watching from afar.

Having played a huge 1 game for Arsenal in the league cup in 4 years there, 10 games for Birmingham as they fought relegation from the championship before being dropped,  half a season on loan At Walsall in league 1 where he played a mammoth zero games, a year at Charlton in League 1 and about 30 games for us, I can see why we would below his station in League 1.  It's a glittering CV.  Blokes practically Cruyff.  I'm only amazed we got him for 7.5 million with add ons and he agreed to a paltry 20 k a week plus over 5 years.  

Should have a kids soft play built into North (family) stand to bring in some extra cash.
Always full at Chesterfield ground and think there's a serious lack of options for kids, this would bring people to the club throughout the week not just matchdays...
 
Also said for years, this club needs a museum of some sort.

I don’t understand why the two cafes are shut nearly all the time. Even when i visited when it was open The Yard wasn’t selling proper food. I thought it was meant to be a restaurant .. it used to be I think. Now it’s just a bar that is open when they feel like it. 

So hope not. Was really pleased when he left as he was so limited compared with our other midfielders. I would put him behind Bielik, Sibley, Knight, Smith, Bird and Hourihane in our pecking order, possibly competing with Thommo.

I do think that Hourihane and Collins need to sit on the bench for a few games to buck up their ideas. They are pretty out of form.

Unpopular maybe but personally I can't abide Steve Bloomers watching.  It's feckin dire.

Apparently he has won 4 games in 24 matches against the top 10 teams in the world.
If this stat is true then it’s a bad decision to retain him as manager.
 
 

Surprised how good Wildsmith is considering he's spent the best part or his career second fiddle at Wednesday.

Having all three subs come on and do absolutely nothing didn't help our cause this afternoon either.

This season is such a slog, feels like it’s gone on forever and we are only a quarter done.
