Saw Arctic monkeys at the Emirates earlier this month, honestly they bored the crap out of me and the support band (Hives) should've been the headliners- amazing energy and crowd interaction.
 
Don't get the hype whatsoever with them.

I loved the Foos. They seemed to have a different energy, they’ve changed a few sections of songs which really showcases Josh’s drumming. Nate looked more animated than I’ve seen him before as well. And so lovely to see Violet singing with her Dad.
I watched the Arctic Monkeys’ set kind of waiting for the penny to drop. I absolutely loved their first album, I think it’s the best debut album I’ve ever heard, but nothing since then has really moved me. I have to say, I still don’t get it. They’re super talented and Alex Turner has a hell of a lot of charisma (even though he’s not that chatty), but their music doesn’t do it for me. It hasn’t got enough b*******, for want of a better word, compared to the first album.

I like him - overall a very sound player - but I still couldn't tell you what position he plays or what he's especially good at (besides running).

Good luck to him if this is what he really wants to do, but in my humble opinion when we first signed him I was so excited we had a player of his quality joining us. sadly I was wrong i thought he had fairly average season and didn't live up to his reputation being innocuous in games and very poor in dead situations. god knows how he made that best league 1 team I'm sure if he goes we could bring in a few  decent freebie signings if his wages are freed up.

13 league goals, 3 of which were against 10-man Burton at the start of the season when they were in freefall under JFH.
Had a run of scoring in 6 consecutive games toward the end but had only scored in 5 of their 43 (league & cup) games before that point.
Cambridge were a struggling side, but they still managed to provide him with 131 shots (league) for those 13 goals meaning on average it took him over 10 shots to score a goal - perhaps that's why they were struggling!
(for reference, McGoldrick got 22 from 117 shots, Collins 11 from 81)
Not a single goal from outside the box and 1 assist all season.
It's a no thanks from me. We've just had a season of watching the profligacy of lower league forwards letting us off the hook, the answer is not to go and sign the biggest wasters of chances!

I've just watched his goals from last season, are people really saying we shouldn't be signing a player like this? 
Decent pace, playing off the shoulder, different to what we have already, genuinely two footed so a threat inside and out....
Ffs he's only 29, and has clearly improved as he's got his prime years the last couple of seasons...
Jesus, we're a league one side, who are you expecting us to sign that's going to be better than a 20 goal, in the same league, striker? 

Played most of the season as a RB in a back 4 didn't he? Poor as an RCB, and no end product as a RWB. We can surely do better, especially as we already have Smith to do the 'midfielder playing at RB' role.

I like Leigh, but he's way off with his follow up tweet on how it's meant to be competitive for both clubs.
That is not true at all, it's a game where his team mates come back, have a kick about and raise money.
Feels like Forsyth has been shafted with this.
Dundee v 13/14 team would have made a lot of sense, this just stinks.

I’m still in favour of the Brentford b team model I think it’s more about scrapping it and therefore no longer needed. With a B team you buy players likely to make the progress both teams learn the same approach tactics and formation then easier transition
