Probably get pelters for this but I think I prefer our 1st goal yesterday to Bird’s rocket.  Really calm play and movement from the defence, lovely sprayed pass from Cashin, good feet and dinked cross from NML and Houihane busting a gut into the box to nod it home.  I think it’s fair to say that we wouldn’t have scored that goal during Warne’s first couple of months.
I can’t say I watched a lot of Rotherham when he was in charge, so can’t say whether what we’re playing now is pure Warne-Ball, but it looks from the outside that he’s adapted somewhat to the type of players he’s got at his disposal, instead of the other way around.

Yup, I remember. Got in a bit of a scuffle myself in the Normo End coz I called some bloke out for shouting racist abuse at Yeboah. The steward who came to resolve it was the most massive 'person of colour' you've ever seen. Needless to say, the bloke I had been arguing with got ejected.

Have to agree with this.  As soon as I laid eyes on a DCFC soft bone in the shop before Xmas, it was instantly purchased for my pooch.  But I think that was the only thing they did pet wise.  I'd gladly spaff away good money on a dog bed or blanket for him...

Phili won it with Foles in place through the play offs.  And the Patriots won their first ever Superbowl with a certain backup QB, so anything's possible if all the other pieces fit.  Bringing in McCaffrey took us from an outside bet to top 4 contenders.  You'd struggle to find a player who's a better fit for Shanahan's schemes.

Leave Hourihane out, play Bird, Knight and Sibley midfield, put Roberts at LB and play Collins, McGoldrick and Dobbin up front.
